Okay so, I would like to take the time to inform everybody that I will no longer be writing for Kara, Winn and James. After seeing how Melissa, Jeremy, and Mechad were acting recently, I can not take myself seriously if I continue to write about them. I sincerely apologise for this, but I will be adding Reign to this and writing Leign/Rena/Ruther, which seems to have a nice ring to.
If also like to thank the members of the Supergirl cast that weren't invalidating fans. It's important that fans know that what they think matters and reactions and actions that were shown recently aren't really helping anybody. Growing up in a place where being was gay wasn't an option until I was around 13, I found comfort in fanfiction where it being gay was normal. Where something like supercorp was treated like any other ship on TV and not just a fantasy. Personally, I feel that some of the cast doesn't really respect fans as much as they should or could, which does more harm than good.
If also like to thank Katie McGrath for being who she is and standing up and validating the fans. It's people like her that make be want to keep watching the show. I realize that she'll probably never see this, but I think it is important that I let these words get out somehow. Even if only a few people read this, it's nice to know that this message got out into the world, no matter how it was interpreted.
