It was 1:05 am when Mira was finally done finishing her last school assignment. Her concentration had been running low and the fatigue was really starting to kick in. She was glad it was finally over, however.. She closed her laptop and sighed. However.. whether her work was going to bring her a satisfactory grade was still questionable..
With some effort she was able to lift her bag up onto her lap. 'Tired...', she thought to herself. She checked her schedule. 'Tomorrow would be.. Wednesday..?'
She checked her phone for the right date. 'Wednesday.' She repeated to herself.
She unloaded her bag of the books she wouldn't be needing and loaded it with the ones she would. She put the bag back beside her with a plop. 'Oops... Real tired..'
She stood up and went off to the bathroom to brush her teeth. Five minutes passed. Done. She went out and turned off the lights in the hallway to prevent any unnecessary electricity use and went back into her room. She changed into nightwear, throwing her used clothing in the washbasin and started tidying up her room, putting all the things she had used back in place.
Before going to sleep she had this routine she needed to run through. If she was lying in bed and the room was a mess, she couldn't fall asleep. After having had some long nights, trying not to care, she had eventually just given in, deciding she would rather clean up before going to bed than having to come out after.
Not that this didn't have it's benefits too though. Cleaning up so often made it a whole lot of less work every time she did it after all.
It didn't take long before she was done and turned off the lights to go to bed. She lied down and made herself comfortable under the blankets, pulling them close on all sides to better preserve body heat. She had to move around a bit to find the right position, but when she finally did and was finally totally comfortable, she had to pee.
Sad life.
