Floraline Ramos had earned ecstasy from her life and world. Everyone in it enjoyed her company and her looks. Her appearance seemed to deem her all the more likeable though. Why must looks matter? Why not personality and the way of a person? Why can't said person be like her? Happy. Though not everyone experiences her thoughts.

Floraline is also like the rest of her species. Layered. Full of drama and emotions and thoughts. Deep thoughts. Maniacal thoughts. But she isn't one of those serial killers. In fact, she dislikes those of that behaviour. Her thoughts only go as far as to harm her own self.

Floraline leapt out of her bed. The soft oceans of blanket left her body. The feeling of cool air brushed against her olive colored skin. She wasn't skinny but she was quite stunning for her width. Her charcoal hair was the length of a ruler, her eyes were a glistening hazel, a thin nose, and her lips were a plump rose. She has this natural beauty without the need for makeup. But as of now her hair was like a messy mop. "Hurry up, Floraline! You will be late." Her mother yelled.

She loved her family. She felt the presence of her brother very special and essential. Without him, she wouldn't have anyone to talk to. No fun memories or semi-sad moments. "Okay! Coming!" She quickly combed through her hair, using her hand, and applied lotion to her arms and legs. She slipped on a pale pink blouse with ruffles, a pair of white capris and her sketchers. Who wouldn't want sketchers? THEY RULE.

Soon she was set for the day.She began thinking of her last day of school, which was at least 2 or 1 month away. Sadly she wouldn't see her friends anymore. Only the couple that will attend the same high school as her. Then off to college. Where She'd least likely see anyone of her friends. Then she'll get a job, find a husband or wife, have kids (adopt, sperm donor, or carry a man's child), then she'll see her family expand. She'll then see her last moment. Then she'll die. Such is the way of life.

Once she made it to school, her friend, Jason, initiated their seret handshake as a greeting. "Hey Jay!" She smiled as she walked along with him to the band room. "You excited for today?" Jason gayly swung his arms around. "Not really." He gasped,"What!? Why?" Flora stopped in her place,"Do you like learning how you're going to die, and what you'll be reincarnated into?" She stamped her foot. "It'd be cool to see what you'll be in the next life." Flora placed her hands on her hips. "Not to find out how you'll die! And besides, if we live long enough in the next life, there's a scientific theory how our universe as we know it will end. It may collapse on its own gravity! Its own mass."

"Betrayal!" He dramatically clenched his shirt where his chest was and fell to the floor. "Haha. Very funny. But you're right." He got up off of the floor. "Really? About what?" "Making fun of the universe. You're right. Since the universe is forever expanding and has growing mass, why hasn't it collapsed on its increasing mass now?" She placed a finger to her chin.

Jason shrugged. "I have nothing to worry about." Floraline worriedly inhaled and exhaled. She entered the band room and placed her instrument on the shelf. "Bye!" Jason waved to his best friend a goodbye.
