Wow that was astounding! I haven't heard anything like it! Did you write it?
"No. It was a song from my favorite video game. It's very heartfelt and meaningful. This song was from my childhood. I sometimes cry when I hear it. Sends me back to when my brother and I were close. But no one would listen enough to know that I'm not just a dense kid who acts like everyone else. I have dreams. I have feelings. I have emotions. My life isn't perfect. It's shit with sprinkles. Even my mother insults me for how I act at times. Childish, she says.
" She rubbed her neck, near tears.Klonai nodded. I see why it's your favorite. Very beautiful and a wonderful theme. But don't cry! This was never your fault. Don't ever think that. You're special and I am sure everyone doesn't just make you out to be another feather in a pillow. No, I am very positive that they consider one of our smartest.
"Not really. I try to be like the rest. Because I am scared of who I really am."
Klonai shook his head, You shouldn't. You should feel pride in yourself. To conclude, goodbye. See you later, Floraline Ramos
"Okay."
She was then flung back into reality when the bell rang. "Bye Flora. See you later!" Klonai waved by to the girl as he exited the classroom. Floraline nodded and headed to Theatre Arts. I wonder if I might see Klonai next period as well.
Flora entered the class to see only props, sets, and a few scripts thrown around here and there. "Hey kids. Today we will be performing ok? It will be the famous movie 'Star Catcher'. Characters go choose your costumes. Andromeda, Floraline, I haven't put together your costume completely yet. So you get extra time to put together your costume. The others have five minutes."What does Andromeda, the main character, mind you, wear?
"You should wear a skin tight astronaut's suit. What're they called?" Zion went through the costumes Mrs. Kern's rack held. "Biosuits. They invented them 17 years ago. How do you not know this, Zion?" Zion just shrugged as she pulled a white dress with lace and tulle off and a headband dressed with flowers. The others all chose very elaborate costumes and makeup.
Floraline stared at the biosuit and paint and other discarded cloths. "Purple paint and turquoise go very well together. Besides, she wore these colours in the book." Floraline grabbed the items and biosuit costume. Floraline raced to the restroom with her items and hurriedly put them on. "Can anyone braid my hair? I mean I know how to do it, but I'm too lazy." Vianney sprinted to Zion in her Hunter's uniform and her pigtail braids. "Sure thing, Zion. I'll French braid it then put the crown of flowers on. 'kay?"
Zion nodded as Vianney settled behind her with a comb and some rubber bands. "Hey guys! Guess what? Instead of presenting in the cafeteria to the school, as usual, we're finally presenting onstage."
"3 more minutes, Floraline! Remember everyone perform good! Hidden agents from The Order of Generation Alpha and X will be here!" Everyone raced toward the auditorium with Mrs.Kern. Floraline tied her hair back and put on her helmet and biosuit. Stupid Secret agents from the order! "I'm ready!" She grinned. The girl ran through the hall toward, making sure no one saw her, the backstage area. Once she arrived, everyone clapped at the vivid and wonderful.costume she had created. "See everyone. This was made last minute and it still looks better than some of your designs. Now where's the Narrator? Damien!" Damien Webster, oddly Mexican for that name, raced to the front of the crowd of actors. He tightened his tuxedo tie while answering with a, "Yes?" Mrs.Kern told him to step onstage and asked for him to read the parenthesis.
"Hello Lakside Middle School! It's cool to see y'all interested in some Sci-fi shiz. I can recognize some of my friends. It's suprising, though, because they don't strike me as the genius type. So we, Mrs.Kern's Theatre Arts class, would like to present to you, based on the best selling book and the movie rated 100% rotten tomatoes, The Star Catcher." Everyone and their mother clapped as the red velvet curtains opened up.
Floraline held a rose in a silky indigo dress, glitter, and glittery make up decorated her body. Flora twirled and danced as the spotlights fell on her shimmering curvy figure. Flora stopped in the center of the stage. She then began to sing a mellow song,
"
"
Everyone applauded her singing and choice of song. But one particular glimpse caught her eye. Klonai sat in the far back. His eyes were shining as if they were made of stars. Klonai smiled, waved, and stood up and left through the back door of the auditorium. "Klonai?" She softly whispered. The red curtains clasped closed and left Damien Webster to narrate the scene as Floraline quickly changed into a puffy white gown and light makeup.
"Andromeda was indeed very young. In fact, too young to marry. Which was happening this very day. She didn't want to. But she did so dearly love the boy." He gestured his hands toward the curtains which slowly opened up.
Zion McQuestion, or Flower Carrier, stood behind the lead actress fluffing her hair and brushing through it. The lead actress was stating at a pale white rose, admiring it's petals, and gazed at the mirror up at Zion. Zion began,"Princess Andromeda, do you believe it's right to marry at this age? You know, age 15?" The 'princess' chuckled and shrugged, "If you find the right person, sure. I don't want to but--" "Then why don't you just end it?" "No. Mother will be very disappointed in me. Most likely she'll disown me." "What kind of a parent
