That hurt! Where am I?" She stood up and brushed off her clothing. "Hello? Anyone?" She looked around to see Oscar Cervantes. Oscar played the role of the shapeshifter. He was an amateur and his costume was all mixed up.
But, to be fair, he did look somewhat similar to the book's description rather than the new version from the movie. "What is a young inkling like you doing in the dark forests? Such an innocent wealthy thing. How unruly. Why are you here?" Floraline shrugged. "To get rid of my old name. I am sick and tired of being forced into these roles I am not made for. I don't love sparkles nor anything overly feminine. I want to be a warrioress!" Oscar nodded. "Intriuging little human. I may be able to help." Oscar offered a hand. Floraline hesitantly took it. "Follow. Do not get lost. Nor scared." Then the lights flickered on and off.

What the... That wasn't in the script. In anyone's script.

"Floraline, come with me." The voice from her dream whispered into her ear. "No! Nononono! No!" She screamed at 'it'. "Please follow." She rolled her eyes and followed the shallow breathing.

The lights went back on when they exited. Everyone in the auditorium gasped as they saw the lead actress gone! "Where is she? We can't continue without her! She's the best actress of all of--- Go find her guys!" Mrs.Kern yelled at her students.

"Quickly! Before they find us!" She didn't even catch a look at her 'leader's when he pulled her to the other end of the school. It was fully empty because of the Drama class performance. "Aaah! You're going as fast as a car! How is that!?" She yelled.

The boy abruptly stopped by the exit where the portables were. When Floraline's blurred vision cleared, she could see nothing. She only saw a hidden figure in a cloak. The cloak was purple with golden hems. The actress was shocked. "S-so... You--" "Are real? Yes I am." Floraline, and not just her character, was tired of this. She was frustrated. The fury burrowed up inside her, carving at her heart, and overwhelming her. "God dammit! Can't you just tell me what you want already? Please? Because for some odd reason, you're about to say why and you end up being interrupted and then POOF! You're gone! Ugh! Tell me!"

The cloaked boy stood silent. "Well?" "It's not time yet." "Then why are you here?" The boy shook his head,"For you. I needed to see you. I loved your performance! It felt so authentic. It felt like our story!" He slipped both of the girl's hands into his. "I... Don't know what to say, K..." "You don't remember?" She shook her head. "It's okay. You will soon. I am full of so much hope. You will see." Tears shelled up in her eyes,"Don't leave! I have so many questions. You're here.
