Chapter 2: The New Kid

Floraline rolled her eyes and reached into her backpack. She pulled out a small white tablet and began working in a program called FlipaClip.

As the mesmerized Klonai studied his hands, he asked Flora,"Working on your animations are ya?" Flora was so shocked by this that she nearly dropped her tablet. "You've heard of FlipaClip?" "Yes. As well as Aqua and Scarlet. What YouTube channel? Andromeda Animations?" He twiddled his thumbs. "Thanks for telling all the others!" Floraline yelled at him.

"Being human changed you." He muttered. Floraline's eyes grew wide. "W-what?" Klonai shook his head,"Nothing. I did not say a word."
Floraline, confused, nodded. "The bell is gonna ring in a minute." Said Joshua Aldaz. "Hey, Klonai, um... You could--" "I would be happy to join you for lunch tomorrow! And your friends! They're so precious!" The bell rang as he slipped on his backpack. "Wow. When did my mother get here?"

She slowly exited into the hall expecting to see Klonai. Gosh, he's creepy. She thought. She slowly walked to Ms.Romero's class. To her surprise Klonai was in their as well. Well shit.

"Hey, Flora! I am very surprised to see you attend this class as well!" Flora nodded in response. "Where do I sit Erika?" Klonai questioned Ms.Romero. "oh please! Call me Ms.Romero... Wait. What? Anywho, just sit in that seat in the back." She pointed to the empty desk near Diego Del Gado. They seemed to be talking. Then Diego joined about something nasty. Everyone laughed, fake and real, except Klonai.

"That's somewhat foolish, Diego." Diego rolled his eyes,"It's a joke, Klonai." "An quite dull-witted one." Everyone was confused. No one, except Flora and 4 others, knew what that meant. "Strut your hotness not your brain, Dumbass!" Hailey Boatner yelled. "How am I dumb if I am 'showing off' my brain." Hailey stood silent.

Ms. Romero tuned them out with her headphones. The students all were supposed to be working instead they all quarreled. Except Floraline and Klonai. "Klonai. Such a stupid name." Floraline's nerves have been strung upon too many times. "Diego leave my friend alone!" Diego scoffed and continued with his work.

Klonai winked at Floraline who blushed in return. Idiot,anyway, Question 1. The capital of Egypt is? Pssh. Easy! It is Cairo! Duh! Okay, #2 Legend has it that Remus and Romulus were? Raised by wolves. That one is obvious! #3 What did Aztecs farm? Beans and squash, tomatoes, potatoes, sweet potatoes, limes and chilies #4 Where did Aztecs come from? Rumored to come from legendary Aztlan. And finally #5 Who conquered the Aztecs? The Spanish in 1519. What are we doing a project for the aztec now?

"Done!" Floraline cheered. Ms.Romero noticed the children finishing. "Okay kids! You may have the rest of the period free. Just be quiet. Okay?" Everyone nodded in unison.

"May we sleep?" Erika Romero replied with a humming yes. Floraline laid her forearms on the desk and set her head on them. Pitch blackness until she was in the gown again. "This again? Why is it always this dream? My brain just keeps taunting me!"

What? Are you not happy to see me? You are unhappy to see me? Oh and, by the what, you forgot to sing me a song.

"Yes. Yes I am! Why do you keep invading all the dreams I have? I need time to myself! You act like my jealous step dad! Plus, you're clingy!"

You are correct. I apologize, Floraline. But time is running out. You could not even recognize me!

"When?"

You know what? Why should it matter? Shouldn't you be alone? You wished for it.

With the snap of his fingers, the foundation of the mind broke. Floraline fell threw the floor. Floraline tried to reach up for anyone to grab onto her. "Please Klonai! Help me!"

The figure then grabbed onto her wrist.

I know you do not remember me. Nor do you remember my name. But you were simply calling out to a friend. So I can see respect in that. I shall save you. Even though your life was not in parel. Please sing me a song, though. I wish to hear the mellow, relaxing, beautiful hum of your voice.

"Fine. Just please pull me up!" The silhouette nodded and pulled her up with both hands. She panted as she landed on the platform. "Now what shall I sing?"

The figure shrugged
