Ekilux stood up and began to cry. "Eki! You know I cannot. My brother is waiting for me!" Ekilux groaned. "What about me, huh? Ever thought about me for once?" Kenyane ignored him and walked away with Ruffles. "Let's go, Floraline."
Ekilux looked at the dog and his boy as they left him. For good. That night, Ekilux studied his magic and was able to mentally connect to people or mentally travel places. In which, he used to his advantage.

"Shadow King?" The older Ekilux laughed. "You know my true name. Why not just say it?" Kenyane backed away. "No need to be afraid of your brother. Are you the reason why I'm going through all this pain?" Kenyane looked dowm at his shaking hands. "Hush poor Kenyane! No need to cry. I mean, you have caused me a vast.amount of pain, too, Dear!" Kenyane fell to his knees in defeat. "Now we get a look at the true Kenyane." Kenyane grew angry and pulled the man down to his level,"Why are you doing this? I was just a kid when I hurt you! And I didn't mean it! I truly do love you as a brother, Ekilux!" The Shadow King pulled Kenyane up to his height. "Yes. But I don't love you as a brother. Think about it, Kenyane! Why am I here?" Kenyane shrugged. He was in denial. He did not want to believe his best friend was in love with him because Kenyane still had feelings for Floraline. "I have been sensing your power growing. Are you here to test out your magic?" Ekilux threw his hands in the air, collecting electricity from Kenyane's brainwaves, and aimed them at Kenyane. "Wrong!"
