Alexander's POV
I wake up, groggily. Still next to John. We're lying on the bathroom floor with our legs tangled together and arms wrapped around each others waist. How did we even end up in this position?
I hear John shuffling so I pretend to be asleep and slowly even out my breathing so it'd sound more believable.
"Alex?"
"Alex!"
I open my eyes to see John with his rough, all-over-the-place hair and deep, morning voice.
He's so cute.
"Yes John?" I say, trying to sound sleepy.
"Why are we here...together?"
"You were sick last night so I came here to comfort you and I guess we just fell asleep together"
"Oh. Well, thank you"
"Its no big deal" I smile at him.
We still have each others arms wrapped around each other. Oh god.
"Ah fuck. My head is killing"
"Hang on, I'll get you some painkillers" I say and untangle myself from Laurens to get some Advil.
When I come back he is sitting against the wall.
"I don't remember shit from last night" He chuckles.
"Wouldn't be suprised, to be honest" I laugh with him.
"What happened last night? I don't remember you getting drunk so you'd probably know"
"Oh, well-uh. About that-" I say, rubbing the back of my neck.
I'm interupted by a call from Hercules.
Thank god.
"Hello?"
"Hey. I was wondering if you and John would be up for a movie night with Laf, me and the sisters?"
"Umm, I don't think John feels that good because of last night"
"Aww is Hammy caring for his boyfriend?" Herc teases.
"Wha- shut up" I respond as a massive blush creeps up on my cheeks. I think John seemed to notice because he gives me a questioning look.
"Anyways, ask John and let me know later, yeah?"
"Yeah. Bye"
"Who was it?"
"It was Herc he was wondering if we would join him for a movie night with everyone else. You up for it?" I ask him
"Sure. When my headache goes, though,"
I nod and go into the kitchen to make some coffee. John follows me and sits on the couch.
**** (time skip to when they walk to Herc's and Laf's dorm)
"So Alex. You didn't answer my question. What happened at the party?"
"Um, nothing much"
"Oh alright, I hope I didn't do anything stupid" He laughs.
Well.
"Nah, you didn't"
We reach theur dorm and knock. We are greeted by Laf.
"Bonjour, mes amis. Come in, everyone else are already here"
Everyone greets us and John and I sit next to each other on the couch.
Laf winks at me.
I mouth to him a 'shut up' before Hercules takes a Disney film out of its box. Everyone grones.
"Why is it that every single time we have a movie night, we always watch a Disney film?" Angelica expresses.
"Because Disney films are the best!" Exclaims Hercules.
He slides the disk into the DVD player and the movie 'Mulan' starts.
****(still watching the film)
Peggy pulls out her phone and goes onto her gallery. I guess this was what she was aiming for because she then proceeds to go onto a photo and shows everyone except from John and I. We exchange confused looks.
"Oh come on, that's not fair!" John says.
She puts her phone away.
They all start to giggle which eventually turns into massive fits of laughter.
Peggy notices our pissed-off looks and gets her phone back out again.
"Okay, okay. Fine"
She shows us a picture of John and I holding hands and John kissing me on the cheek.
She swipes and there is another picture of John and I again. Kissing on the lips.
I gasp and put my hand over my mouth.
"Where the fuck did you get these photos from?" John and I say in unison.
I wasnt even that drunk and even I cant remember anything about this.
"Well you were about to walk out of our house, holding hands so I decided to take a picture"
"I SHIP IT" Laf shouts.
I am blushing so bad right now. And I think John is too.
"Alex, you told me that nothing happened and that I didnt do anything stupid?!"
"S-so that was stupid to you?" I say, gesturing to the phone.
"YES!"
"Oh. Well, I-I should go. I have an essay to finish. I'll see y-you all later" I say, trying not to sound as defeated as possible.
Because I really was.
It was beyond stupid for me to think that John felt anything towards me.
Plain stupid.
I gather my things and run to my dorm.
