August had stayed with Harry for a few months now. He couldn't leave her like she was no one to him. He knew she was going through her broken family issues and he had to make sure he wasn't another problem to her.

He became the boyfriend Harry wants him to be. He made sure that he wasn't putting up an act of lie to her eyes that he was almost living with her in her apartment. His mother understood that he finally have a girlfriend but never knew who it was. August would said he wasn't ready to tell her and so his mother left him alone.

As of school time, they have to make a low profile. Since Harry was so sure of him having no affairs, she couldn't care less of anyone trying to flirt with him. She knew some of his students were trying to get a contact with him because August made sure she knew all about it. Meacah, on the other hand, was still August's best friend, the only difference was, she had a boyfriend now; That would sometimes, would randomly send Meacah sweet stuffs at her table.

The last thing that they had to worry about was Bryan. Harry gave him the cold shoulder right after August was back to her and when they had the chance to talk, she turned him down and never talked to him again. August heard he had been absent for a month after that. Then came back after with a different aura. The innocent Bryan that August could see in him was gone and he knew that he knows the relationship he had with Harry. Everytime he would pass by him, Bryan would give him a cold stare and a death glare, his fists hard as stone.

August could only go home to his mother thrice or twice a week to make sure that she was doing fine without him.

"Do you still think Harry could recover to her oldself?" August asked. He's sitting on the couch in front of his veranda with Vanessa. Watching the dull apartment as always.

"Yeah." she answered. He glances at her and scowl.

"Really? You said that like months ago. I mean I do believe she will, it's  just that. It's been a long time and she is not changing Vanessa."

"Woah there. Did you just say my name?" Vanessa arched an eyebrow at him and chuckled when August waved his head.

"Okay, okay, fine. Sorry. It's just, I never actually heard you say my name. Barely actually." she said and looked at August who was looking down at the ground. She sighed and hold his hand, August was surprised by her gesture and looked at her.

"I don't know what to say really. But! What's important is, you're there for her, like a good old friend."

"But I'm not a good old friend. I'm her boyfriend." he complained.

"Isn't that what you wanted in the first place?" she asked, making a face at him.

"That was before." he said, his tone and face serious. "I don't want it anymore and now, I've been patient enough to stay with her. It's like I wanna just tell her the truth and be on with my life."

"Hey no, don't do that."

"Then she'll never be able to unlove me."

"Okay then. Here's the thing. If you want her to unlove you in the most peaceful way, then you should have never moved in with her."

"Wait, what?" he paused. "I did not move in with her." he said, his tone in an unbelievable manner.

"Pft, then what do you call living with her and not-going-home-unless-you-want-to thing you do? Huh?"

"Hey I did that because you told me to make sure she was fine."

"And you did. You may have gone a little way tooooo far. Actually, you have done it way way way way more than expected. Thus, making her love you more than ever." she said and gave him a victory smile. August sighed at her and waved his head.
