"August? Why do I feel like you're drifting away from me?" Harry asked. She's lying on top of August and her insides throb because of their lovemaking. August was taken aback by her question.

After Rachel's call and the sight of Vanessa walking away from him, it was driving him crazy. He was often staring at thin air, eaten by his own thoughts. Pondering on things he shouldn't.

"Drifting away? Why do you say so?" he asked.

"Answer my question first, and I'll answer yours." she said happily, she poked his nose again and smiled, he grins back at her and caress her hair.

"Drifting away from you, huh?" he murmurs. He stared at the ceiling.

Is it time to tell her the truth?

"Harry, my love." he whispered. He pulled her head to his and kissed her lips. Sometimes, his feelings for her were coming back but everytime it does, he always hit at dead end where he just likes Harry. No romantic feelings at all.

"I'm not drifting away from you. I just. Have some. You know, work." he paused a few times as his mind gave him a reason to tell her.

"Okay. By the way, Bryan was really mad at you. I can tell, tsk. Weak people revenge? Strong people forgive and intelligent people ignore? Pft! Where'd you get that?!" she said, teasing him, poking his cheek and her eyes lifted up by amusement.

"You don't want to know." he said, smiling at her and ignoring Bryan and his 'really mad at you' statement.

"Can I get a kiss?" she pouts at him.

"No. I don't wanna spoil you."

"You've already spoiled me!" she said scolding him.

"I did? Pft!" he snorted and Harry kissed his lips and smiled after.

"Yes, you did." she whispered seductively and snuggled her head at his neck. August smiled and caress her back, he felt her breathe gently and her soft breathing in his neck. Then his smile fades and became a scowl. His mind went back into thinking of Vanessa and his ex girlfriend.

Why do Rachel wants to meet me?

And

Why did Vanessa walk away from me?

The weekend has come, the Saturday morning was a happy greeting to August's wake. He found his mother preparing their breakfast and he sat on one of the table to give her a morning talk.

"Morning my little August." she said when she sees him, she kissed his cheek as August hugs her back.

"I'm not a baby anymore." he complained hugging her. Her mother laughed at him then tapped his back, she went back at cooking and gave him a second glance.

"You'll always be my little baby, August." she said sweetly, he smirk and watch his mother sway gracefully as she gets the ingredients to her recipe.

"Have no work, eh?" he asked.

"Oh, thankfully my friend is back. My normal schedule is back."

"Aww, congrats mother. You looked very tired."

"Yes I am my dear. They gave me three days to rest, lucky huh?" she glances at him so she could give him a wink and he snort.

"It sure is." he said lazily, he argued to himself if he should tell his mom about Rachel. He sighed first before he started talking.

"Mom. I have to tell you something." he said, sounding so serious. His mother glanced again and frowned slightly at him when she heard the seriousness in his voice.
