Through out the afternoon. August couldn't take Harry's crying face off his mind. During his discussions, he was easily distracted and he kept on seeing Harry's face to someone else. Every time that happens, he shrugs it off and see he's typical student looking at him, confused.
Later then, on his way back to his office, Meacah called him and he looked back to look at her.
"Hey, you know what, I was expecting to see Harry in my class. That beautiful young lady has gotten on my nerve! I mean, I think I have a crush on her! Let's call it a girl crush!" she said, August stops walking and look at her.
"She's absent?" he asked.
"Yeah, we were just sharing our table with her earlier, right?" she laughs and waves her head to August. "Maybe she cut class with Bryan. He was not in my class too."
"Ohh.. Pft, lovebirds. Seriously, they can do anything for love." he said, faking a funny expression, he continued walking with his face frowned.
She's absent? That damn-ugly-flirty-guy is absent too?! Damn it! What have I done to her?!

He waited her at his veranda, nervous about what he's going to tell her. But then, as he tell everything, Vanessa laughs recklessly at August's story. He told her about what happened to him and Harry, he expected her that she would be mad because he kissed her but instead, she ended up laughing at him and she almost runs out of breathe as she laughs.
"What?" he asked her, annoyed by her reaction. She continues laughing and August scowls hard at her.
"Damn it Vanessa, talk to me!" he complained which made Vanessa laughed even harder.
What's wrong with this woman?!
"You're. Really." she laughs again then tries hard to stop it. "Funny. Damn you August!" she said and laughs again.
August close his eyes and looked away. He stares at the dull apartment and pouts, thinking where the hell is the funny part in his story.
"I mean, it's actually sad Vanessa! Cause I broke up with her! Really broke up with her!" he said, Vanessa giggles and now she finally stops laughing. August looks at her and see tears at her eyes.
"Now, where's the funny part Chunky? I don't find anything funny."
"Good job on stopping yourself Lovelornie..." she said, she tries hard to suppress a smile and then, she taps his shoulder. August looked at her, waiting for her opinion, then after a moment, she starts laughing again.
"Gosh Vanessa! You're killing me!" he said upset, he put his head on his hands and stare down at the ground.
After a few breathes, Vanessa finally stops laughing and wipe the tears from her eyes.
"You should laugh on yourself! I mean it's really funny." she said, August scowls at her and give a cold stare.
"Where's the funny part?" he said, sounding impatient.
"See? You can't even see what's the funny part!" she smirks and smiles.
"Just say your damn oh wisdomy words Chunky." he said, "I know you have something to say." he added. He looks at her and Vanessa's smirk is gone.
"You sure you're ready to hear it?"
"Yeah.."
"Okay!" she sits comfortably first and look at the apartment she's living on. She take a deep breathe and looks at August who is waiting impatiently.
"First of all, congratulations. But then, you kinda failed challenge number two, because you kissed her back. Let's say, you half passed challenge two, so you have to do better than that. And, this 'offer' I gave you." she pauses and looks away.
