Tsuna POV

With the boost from my flames, I flew all the way to Vindicare. my eyes solely locked forwards, not minding the beautiful scenery below me. 

Reborn's words stuck in my head. Thus I can't concentrate on anything else... not even the coldness of this freezing air

' 'I'm not alone' he says... 'not in the past nor in the future'? ha! you make me laugh, Reborn...' I scoffed. 'If you were saying the truth, then where were you? where's everyone when I need them, huh? 

If I'm not alone then there's no way I'll be in this situation I'm in... 

don't you get it Reborn? I AM meant to be alone...'

"-and I always will..." I whispered bitterly.

some moments later I landed on the snow-covered land, where I know that this is that hellhole's secret gate. Simply, because this place used to spend my 2 years... before I meet that lovely lady and has this curse hanging over my neck.

as I walked closer I wear my black coat and top hat as I showed the guards my mark on my left hand. 

"You may enter, Trevas..." I tipped my top hat as I entered the opened gate. 

(A/N: Trevas is Tsuna's name or codename among the Vindicare. and yes, he's one of them...)

'the smell is as horrible as always...' I commented into my mind. I tried to ignore it as I walked straight to his office. 

"Trevas? what are you doing here?" a raspy voice greeted as I walked in. I turned to see Jager stood there crossing his arm.

"Bussiness..." I replied shortly, "now, where's Bermuda-san?"

"looking for me, boy?" that familiar squeaky voice answered.

"Bermuda-san..." I kneeled to show my loyalty, which he hurriedly dismiss. 

"you don't have to act too formal, Treval... now, what is it you need? surely you're here for a reason?" Bermuda said as I back to my feet.

"Indeed I am here to take someone back..." I claimed right away.

"Hm? and who might it be?" Jager asked, quirked a brow.

"a teen namely Rokudo Mukuro. Surely you remember him. the pineapple head?" I asked.

while Jager narrowed his eyes, Bermuda, on the other hand, raised his brow... I just know it even though I couldn't see it under his bandage that covers his whole body...

"it's so unusual of you... mind to tell me, why you interested in this young lad?" he asked.

"none of your concern..." I replied flatly. then I took the whole documents that I need for formal purpose, "here are the whole things that truly happened behind the ruckus he caused. And the last event is in my charge. you should punish me instead of him. besides, he was always a great puppet to me. I just simply don't want to lose my pion" 

Bermuda doesn't seem to be convinced a bit. but luckily I've learned my whole life not to show any of my emotions, let alone my concern. 

"why are you lying?" He asked, concern lacing his voice. I didn't reply.

"Is this guy, precious to you... Tsuna?" Jager asked yet I remain silent.

"He is, isn't he? for you to cover him everything like this..." Bermuda sighed.

Biting my lower lip, I found my self-failed at my attempt to stay quiet. "he is... my brother..."

I can tell that both of them perked their ears at my confession, "Brother?" 

"unrelated blood, but yeah..." I tried to smile but failed.

They glanced at each other before they then nodded. "we understand..." Bermuda said. "he'll be released as soon as possible..." 

I silently sighed in relief as he said so. I never thought that the negotiation will be this smooth.

"Thank you, Jager, Bermuda-san... so, what's the price?" I asked. 

"he'll be off charge for free..." Now I'm the one who surprised. but before I get to ask Jager has beaten me to it.

"but his freedom must be restricted. how about joining a famiglia?" 

I hummed, "I'll try to convince him to be one of Vongola Decimo candidate's mist guardian. how's that?" 

Bermuda nodded in approval, "Very well then... let's go and pick him up, shall we?" He said, then he flies and landed on my shoulder.

with his lead, we went to where Mukuro is.

along the way there Bermuda asked me, "why don't you just tell me myself about this, Tsuna?"

I hummed, "lots of reason. one of it, I don't want to disturb your job..."

"-nonsense!" He cut me off. "You know that I will always spare my time for you..." He said anger could be heard from his tone that I gulped in nervous despite how my face remained stoic.

"you've saved me and my precious friends from the death that came for the second time for us... we owe you our lives Tsuna. you now that we'll do anything for you..." He said softly.

"I'm sorry Bermuda-s-"

"call me ojisan..."

"Well, Bermuda-ojisan..." I corrected, "I'm terribly sorry. but you know how I am... I still can't trust anyone else. not after everything that fate has thrown to me... not until now..."

"if that's the case..." he sighed. "Then, what about your condition, Tsuna? have you find a cure for that poison?" He carefully asked.

I shooked my head, "not yet..." I simply answered.

'to be honest, it even started to build immunity against Shamal's medicine despite how he made it strong enough to fight over any other disease.' I added in my mind, 'well, I don't expect less, since it was meant to Bermuda-san and everyone from Vindice'

It doesn't take long before we arrived in front of the place where they held Mukuro...

The same exact place where they used to held me back then... the water prison.

I feel hesitate to enter and it seems Bermuda-ojisan noticed my discomfort since he went off and entered himself while asking me to stay, which I gladly complied...

Entering that room would be too traumatic for me who spent 5 of my early years being bullied at the orphanage, then from 6 to 9 being experimented like animals, and then being locked up in this place for 2 years before I officially chosen as the next sky arcobaleno. 

Which reminds me, that It was some months after then that I manage to cancel the murder attempt that was meant for Bermuda-ojisan and the Vindice member which somehow makes them treat me like how they are now...

I sighed heavily as my memories of the past just passed before me. 'past is past... you can't change it no matter what and it's pointless to pity it... I must focus on my next step instead. To reach my future...' I blinked for a while before then sighed again. 

'who am I kidding? future?? I don't have one nor I have a chance to imagine it... besides, my time will be up within 2 months...' I manage to crack another sad smile as I looked up, trying to prevent my tears from falling...

'Just who I am kidding... right?'
