After getting ready, me and Jayden head down for breakfast.Half way down the stairs, I pause.
"Oops," I say to Jayden "I forgot something, be right back."I sprint upstairs, grab my missing item and meet a curious Jayden in the kitchen.
My mum is frying some bacon as I call her
"Mum!"She turns with an apron on, her eyes flickering cautiously between Jayden and I.
"What..?"I throw it at her.
She catches it with furrowed eyebrows
"The condom?.."I cross my arms and scowl.
"Me and Jayden aren't together."I feel his breath before I see him.
He grabs me around the waist and plants a kiss on my cheek, sending sparks straight down to the tips of my toes.
"Oh," He whispers, "I beg to differ."I push him away and stand near my mum as I try straightening my clothes, cheeks burning.
"Okay mum," my voice strangely high "I think I'm late."I practically sprint out of the door with Jayden's cackles following me.
"Hey! Mel! What's so bad about being with me?"I slow down and shove him
"Nothing you big doofus, except we aren't. Don't get my mums hopes up!"He smirks and doesn't say anymore.
..
After period 4, Jayden and I head to lunch.
We grab some mouldy food and sit down just as Alec walks in.I try and ignore him.
"What's wrong Mel?" Jayden asks
My eyebrows furrow
"Nothing?"
Why did that come out as a question?"Then why are you glaring at your apple like it murdered your family?" He shakes his head with a smile.
I shrug and smirk.
"Maybe it did."He stares at me before narrowing his eyes.
"You are so strange."I laugh
"You're telling me, I-"I- what
I..
I'm in pain,
Again. My Apple falls and rolls to the floor as I grip the table as hard as I can.
Jayden is out of his seat before I can even blink and is holding my shoulders
He forced my chin up so I look him in the eyes
"What's wrong?"My vision blurs slightly and I see icy blue eyes watching me in the corner of the room.
"I.."
I cover my mouth.
The familiar acidic bite of bile rises.Jayden wastes no time and drags me out of the noisy cafeteria.
We burst through the girls toilets door as some squealing girls rush out at the sight of Jayden.I rip myself out of Jayden's grip and crouch over the toilet, wrenching violently.
I hear a comforting 'shh' whilst my hair is lifted gently.
"It's okay," Jayden cooes "I'm here. This will pass soon."This will pass soon
I shiver and my teeth clatter.
What the hell is wrong with me.I don't remember much more other than my eyes drifting shut and the weight taken off of my feet. As Jayden lifts me, darkness consumes me.
