Chapter 25

~Sharna's POV~

Sharna woke the following morning, with an amazing memory from the day before. She loved having Val back in her arms. She turned around to her side, expecting him to be there, but the bed was empty. Sharna sat and looked around. He wasn't in her bedroom. She got up and put on the shirt he left on the ground that night.

Sharna heard some noise coming out of her kitchen and when she got to the kitchen, Val was busy with making breakfast. He hadn't heard her come in, so Sharna watched from a distance. He was making pancakes and he had already put fresh juice in a glass. Sharna also saw some fresh fruits and she was very happy seeing him doing all of this for her.

She decided to surprise him and silently walked up behind him. She wrapped her arms around his bare chest and kissed his shoulder.

"Good morning," she whispered.

Val turned around in her arms and kissed her on her lips. "Good morning to you too beautiful. Happy two month anniversary."

"What are you doing?" Sharna asked. She sat down on the counter and got a fresh strawberry.

"I wanted to make you breakfast and serve this in bed. But I see you already started."

Sharna gave him a smile and continued eating her strawberry. She watched Val finish making breakfast and afterwards they went back to bed, where they ate their breakfast.

Sharna checked the time and saw they had to hurry to get to rehearsals on time. She and Val quickly got their stuff and walked outside.

"One car or two?" Val asked. Sharna thought about it for a second. She knew if they would take one car there was a change that the paparazzi would see them and figure out they were a couple. On the other hand it was easier and way nicer to drive together.

"One," Sharna said. "I like it better when we drive together and if someone should ask about it, we'll just say your car broke down and is in the garage."

"Sounds like a plan."

They got in Sharna's car and drove to the studio. Sharna parked her car and they went to the ballroom. Almost everybody was already there and they started not long after Val and Sharna had arrived.

Sharna walked to Bonner and explained to him what was about to happen. They were third to rehearse their number. And while they waited they watched the rest rehearse. Bonner was having a bad day with his neck. So Sharna decided to take it slow.

They rehearsed their number and Sharna gave him some pointers to work on. Sharna was really proud of how far he had come. He wasn't the best dancer, especially compared to the amazing talent that was on the show right now, but he was working really hard.

Sharna gave Bonner some time off and watched the rest of the dancers, sometimes helping where needed. At last it was Val's time to rehearse his number, but Normani wasn't here yet. She would arrive tonight.

"Sharna, could you come to the stage please!"

Sharna heard Mandy calling for her and from the Red Room, she walked to the stage.

"Mandy, what can I do?"

"Val needs a partner for camera blocking. Could you help him out."

"Off course."

Sharna walked to Val, who was standing with his back to her. She had to suppress the urge to hug him from behind.

"I heard you needed a partner for your camera blocking?" Sharna said. Val turned around.

"Yes, but I believe Mandy was going to find one for me."

"Well she did, I'm going to help you out."
