School was still going to remain closed for a few weeks, which is good. I still needed to keep myself distracted if I was going to keep the promise I made to Ethan. He texted me every once and a while to check up on me, since he knew my dad didn't do much of it. When my dad saw that I had gotten home from the hospital, he simply asked how I was and left it at that. No emotion whatsoever.

I began to get very bored, so I texted Ethan to see if he wanted to come over, and he was at my house in about 10 minutes.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Ok, I guess." I said with little emotion.

"We still need to talk about stuff, do you feel up for that today?"

"What kind of stuff?" I asked.

"Well you know..." he hinted, and then I caught on. He wanted to talk about shit... I mean, my life.

"Let's just get it over with." I replied.

"Ok, well let's start out with you asking questions. What do you want to know?" He asked.

I wasn't sure where to begin, or what to even ask, so I started with the obvious. "Why did you leave me, why did you ditch me and decide I was worthless to you?" I can see my question broke his heart, but what did he expect?

"I don't know. I really have no excuses for what I did. I was so angry because I thought you had feelings for someone else, when all along I loved you. You were my everything, and occasionally I would forget that we weren't a couple. I took out all my anger on you, and I thought it would be best not to like you to save myself some pain and frustration, but in reality, it was the worst damn decision I have ever made. You are the love of my life. I threw both of our happiness away for my selfish reasons." Damn Ethan.

"Ethan, I forgave you... I forgave you as I was about to get shot. I truly mean that, I do forgive you. But you still hurt me, and I am still hurt. My life has been compromised because no one knows how to love me. I feel like life is holding me by a thread. I feel like I'm worthless, and I should just be dead already. I mean... I got shot! I freaking got shot."

"But I love you."

"Then love me."
