F I V E

        Joey and I walked through his front door. I was greeted by his dog. I giggled and pet he/she. "That's Bella" Joey glanced at me on the floor and laughed. "Oh hey Bella" I said in a high-pitched voice. She licked my face. "Ew!" I got up and wiped my face with my sleeve. "You're such a baby" he teased me. "If I'm such a baby then why don't I just leave" I joked walking towards the front door. "No stay!" Joey grabbed my hand and playfully engulfed me into a hug from behind. I turned around to face him and our faces where extremely close, one more movement and I could kiss him if I really wanted to. I could hear my heart pounding in my ears, it was so loud that I thought joey could hear it too. That moment felt like it had lasted forever but as soon as I realized what was happening I gently pulled away from his arms. "Do you skateboard?" I asked changing the subject. "How'd you know?" Joey scratched his chin nervously and put his hands in his back pocket. "I see your skateboard right there" I pointed to it on the couch. "Oh yeah" he smiled. Since there wasn't anyone home he just took me up to his room to hang out. I sat on his bed while he made a musically. I kinda forgot that he was popular on Social Media for a second. He was just a normal boy hanging with a normal girl from his normal school. Nothing changed that. Maybe it was weird that he got mobbed at school almost everyday, and I honestly felt bad for him because all the kid wants to do is learn but people can't respect that. "Come be in this musically with me" Joey motioned for me to stand next to him. "Yeah right so I can start getting death threats from your supporters" I chuckled and pushed my hair out of my face. "Stop worrying about them" he assured me. "This is easy for you Jojo you've been dealing with hate for a long time, but for me on the other hand..." my voice faded hoping he would get the point, I didn't feel like explaining. He sighed and sat by me on his bed. I shifted my body to look at him. "That girl that said you should stop doing youtube was jealous, and wrong, just keep doing what you love" his eyes were soft and gentle looking, like he genuinely cared about me. He got up and held his hand out for my to take it. I agreed and did the musically with him. I messed up a bunch of times but we just burst out laughing. It was actually fun. We finally got a decent looking one and he posted it with the caption: just for fun 😜💙 

His room door opened to reveal a girl that looked exactly like him so I was assuming they were related. "Hey joe- oh uh" she turned around to leave. She must've thought she was interrupting something. "Sophia this is Julia... my friend from school" joey spoke up. She turned back around awkwardly. "Hi Julia, I'm Joey's little sister" she walked over to shake my hand. "I figured, you guys almost look like twins" I giggled. "Really? Nah" she smiled. "Okay... Sophia I think mom needs you downstairs" Joey tried to hint for her to leave us alone. "I didn't hear her call me" she shrugged. "Maybe you should clean out your ears" he said as nicely as possible through gritted teeth. "Its fine, she can stay I was just about to show myself out" I butted in the conversation. "I'll walk you" Joey said. I nodded and he walked me downstairs. I didn't get a chance to talk to his mom. I'd meet her one day so I left satisfied. I had a great time with Joey, besides the awkward moments and the almost "kiss". I could get used to hanging out with him.
