END OF INSTAGRAM POST
Joey and I had posted a musically together an hour ago and his supporters were already finding my Instagram and Youtube channel. I was surprised that I hadn't got a lot of hate yet but I knew the worst was yet to come. I got out of the uber and walked into my house. "Juliaaaa" Kai ran over to hug me. "Hey bud, How was your day at school?" I hugged him. "It was weird, people were asking about you and some guy named Joey..." he had a confused look on his face. shit. People were asking my little brother about us now? I didn't want him getting attacked with questions at school, let alone question he didn't know the answers to. "What were they saying?" I asked kneeling down so I was his height. "Something about dating" he shrugged. "and you denied all of the questions right?" I looked him sternly in the eyes. "Of course sis, you don't have a famous boyfriend named Joey " he laughed. "Right" I smiled uneasily. He ran off, probably to go play with his legos or something. I got up and walked to the kitchen, where my mom was making dinner. "Hey Julia " she looked over her shoulder. "Hi mom, whats for dinner?" I flung my bag on the ground. "Nothing special, just some spaghetti" she pulled her long brown hair into a high ponytail. I had a silent battle in my head debating if that moment would be the right time to explain Joey to her and the consequences of being associated with him. I mean she would find out sooner or later. I've told her about my youtube channel numerous times, but that was because it was just a few people watching. There could possibly be thousands of people watching me now and I don't even know it. "Mom?" I blurted out. "Yes?" she answered her back still turned. "Wanted to let you know that, I'm friends with a...I don't know how to explain it... a Social media star " I got straight to the point. "Okay... and?" she was still not facing me. "And to add on to being friends with such an amazing person, there comes hate and maybe even death threats" Joey's popularity never made me want to be friends with him any more or less. I just wanted a friend and he gave me that. "Death threats? Who is this Social media person?" She turned around crossing her arms. "His name's Joey and dont get mad at him because its not his fault that his supporters say that stuff" I quickly said. "Why would his supporters give you death threats for being his friend?" I could see she was getting irritated. "They think we're a couple" I replied. "Well, You're not dating the kid right?" she turned back around and chuckled. "Of course not" I assured her. "Good, and It's going to stay that way" she had a carrot in her hand and she pointed it at me sternly. "Yeah, just friends..." My voice faded. She didn't hear my last comment so I just went to my room.
I decided to film a youtube video since I hadn't in a long time. I did my makeup and got my camera. "Whats up guys! welcome or welcome back to my channel" I beamed. "So today I decided to do another makeup tutorial..."
I finished filming in 1 hour, and surprisingly it didn't take that long to edit. It was about 10pm when I uploaded it to youtube. As soon as I posted it views started coming in fast. 10,20,30,40,50 views and it kept going up from there. Then the comments started flooding in. I was scared to read them. How did these people find my channel and Instagram in the first place? I picked up my phone and texted Joey, he replied faster than I expected.

Joey: Yeah?
Me: ur supporters are finding my instagram and youtube channel and its kinda freaking me out 🙊
Joey: I know idek how they found it 😂
Me: They think we're together...
Joey: that happens everytime I'm friends with a girl 💀
Me: they also started to ask my little brother at his school about us
Joey: Oh...
Me: can you go live and tell them to not ask him questions? it'll freak him out
