Joey and I both ordered tall raspberry iced teas, after a supporter offered to take a picture of us for instagram we had the table all to ourselves.
"I forgot to tell you that Im thinking about going to vidcon" I took a sip of my drink.
"When did you decide that?" he furrowed his eyebrows.
"I got added into a group chat this morning. Loren, Blake, Weston, Mark, Hunter and Ariel were in it. they convinced me to go"
"I'm so proud of you"
"Thanks, I mean its so crazy that this is all happening when I least expected it ya feel?"
"I feel ya" he looked down at his feet and laughed nervously
"Whats wrong?"
"Its just... you're getting so popular now. I'm happy for you. I really am. It's just happening so fast"
"I wouldn't be doing this if it weren't for you, and no matter what happens I'll still be the same old Juju. I'll be here, always" I smiled.
There was complete silence and he zoned out for a few seconds as if he were thinking of the right words to say.
"I really love talking to you..." he stared at his cup and continued "I love laughing with you, I love being with you... fuck it. Julia, I think I love you" he blurted out.
my heart started pounding. "Joey-"
"Let me finish. I wanted to kiss you so bad earlier and I know I shouldn't have but you're just so god damn beautiful...and I want you to know that. you need to know that."
He was looking me straight in the eyes now.
Joeys P.O.V
I had to tell her.
I stared at into her ocean gray eyes, and waited for the response. I could tell she was surprised.
"I feel the same way" she said softly.
"I thought you wanted to be friends"
"I want to be more than friends..."
"Then what the hell are we doing? why aren't we together?"
Julia's P.O.V
"I want to be with you, but-" I bit my lip.
"What are you talking about? I'm right here" He grabbed my hand.
"I know that, I just cant explain it right now. Im so sorry" a tear escaped my eye. c'mon julia don't start crying infront of him. I wiped my face and walked out of the Starbucks before I broke down. He needed to understand that I was scared. Not of him, but of our friendship being ruined and I didnt want my mom to be disappointed. She didnt even know I was hanging out with him.

I don't know what my intentions were, but I had ended up at the park. I sat on a bench with tears slowly streaming down my face. I had the urge to whip out my phone and call Luna but I already knew she wouldn't answer.
Three girls walked up to me. I wished they weren't supporters because I didn't feel like faking a smile.
"Excuse me? We saw you crying we wanted to make sure you were ok" one of the girls said.
"perfectly fine" that must've been the biggest lie I've ever told.
"Are you sure about that? Im pretty sure people don't sit on park benches alone while crying when they're fine" The other girl laughed.
"Ori's right, tell us whats bugging you...we've got time" the last girl added.
"I don't even know you guys" I probably looked like crap but I didnt care.
"We shall introduce ourselves" the first girl said.
"I'm Ori" she had long brown hair and brown eyes.
"Emily" Emily had medium length brown hair and hazel eyes.
"I'm Kyara" Kyara had light brown hair and brown eyes.
"I'm Julia, nice to meet you" I sighed.
"Ok Julia, I think you owe us a explanation" Ori sat next to me, Emily and Kyara did the same.
I told them everything, for some reason I felt like I could trust them. I missed talking to someone about my girl problems, I had Joey but he wouldn't understand what it was like to be a girl.
"If you like him then you shouldn't care about anything else, Its your life" Emily was the first one to respond.
"He sounds like a great guy" Kyara placed her hand on my shoulder.
They were probably the nicest girls I've ever met.
"Just do whatever makes you happy" Ori added.
I had found my new best friends.
