TWO WEEKS LATER
Joey and I have been hanging out for two weeks now, and in those two weeks we've grown to become really good friends. I just enjoy being around him, he's funny, chill, serious when he needs to be and just an overall trustworthy person. Luna wasn't so keen on me hanging out with him that much, in fact she hated him. She told me that she missed us hanging out every weekend and being close like we used to. I don't even remember the last time we've talked, I missed my bestest friend. "How do I do this?" Joey ran his fingers through his hair in frustration. We we're laying on his bed finishing up algebra homework. "You got it right" I observed his paper. "Really?" he gasped. "You overthink things too much" my hair was falling in my face so I took the hair tie from around my wrist and put it into a messy bun. "Wanna go live on lively?" he asked while getting off the bed and taking out his phone. "Sure" I agreed. He sat his phone on the window and went live. I walked over to stand by him. The comments started coming in:

I read Bailey's comment, 'check ur texts jojo ❤️' I cringed at her calling him "Jojo". When did she get his phone number anyway? Then I remembered her being in his face that one day. When she whispered in his ear she probably slipped her number in his back pocket. She knew I had a thing for Joey, and I still do but, If we dated it would hurt so many people. I doubted he liked me back anyway.
"I'll check my messages when I get off Bailey" Joey responded to her comment.
He told me that she's just a supporter but I don't think people text and hug their supporters like that. I wasn't being possessive or anything , I just didn't want them to be friends, but I didn't dare tell Joey that or he'd have a fit.
We were on lively for 30 minutes just answering people's questions, then we got bored and got off. I saw joey open up Bailey's text message a smile slowly formed on his face. He laughed and started texting her back. If only I knew what they were texting about. I sighed and told him I had to go home. In reality I could've spent that whole afternoon with him, I wanted to. When I got home I went straight to my room and decided to FaceTime Luna. She picked up on the 3rd ring:
'hey lu i missed you so much'
'Jewels? where have you been?"
"I just got back from joey's...'
'of course. why did i even ask you? its always joey. joey this. joey that.'
'joey has nothing to do with this ok? i miss talking to you'
'let me guess he ditched you and now you come crawling back to me? Julia I'm not your second option'
'I know you aren't! i just-'
'you're all famous now. I'm starting to think you don't want to be bothered by me anymore'
'i'm not famous. i didn't ask for the attention'
'you knew what being friends with him would do. yet you continued following him around- like Bailey... you're just like her'
'Bailey? are you fucking kidding me? i'd never stoop that low and you know that'
'do I? because right about now I don't know anything about you. you blocked me out of your life for two weeks'
'I'm so sorry lu'
' and I'm sorry that i even trusted you to be there for me. i have to go'
She hung up the phone. that was it. Luna officially hated me, I mean she compared me to Bailey that must be alot of hate. I hated that she hated me and hated myself even more because it was all my fault. Was Joey even worth it? was he worth losing my best friend? I guess I had to wait and see.
