CHAPTER 7
Harry's POV:
The dreadfully loud alarm signaling the dance battles went off and Harry stopped before he had the chance to taste those luscious pink lips that were tempting him all night. He felt her let out a deep breath he didn't know she was holding. He moved back with a possible gutted look on his face. "TIME FOR THE MIDNIGHT mêlée!!!!" The DJ announced. Her eye brows shot up, "oh no, it's midnight?" she said.
"Yeah is something wrong?" he asked worried. She shook her head and moved out of his grip. "I've got to go," she said, "nice dancing with you." Her face lit up with a smile hopefully from the memory. He didn't want her to leave; he wanted to keep her all night. To give him the chance to show her all that's inside. He didn't know why but he desired to. She also couldn't leave because if she did he possibly wouldn't have the chance of seeing her again since he hadn't even seen her face properly yet because of the black mask across her eyes. "Can't you stay a little longer?" he pleaded.
"Sorry I've got to go," she waved and walked away disappearing into the crowd. Harry felt as though he was missing something, something he needed to ask her. His mind clicked and he ran through the crowd. He could see her silhouette at the top of the stairs. He started climbing up and when he reached the top she was nowhere to be seen. He sped through the dark corridor and ran out of the door. But there was no beautifully tempting female around. "What's your name?" he whispered to himself feeling beaten. He walked to the black car he parked across the street and decided to wrap up his eventful night.
Ivy's POV:
The dotted sky looked dazzling at this time of night. The streets were frighteningly empty and there were very few cars on the roads. Ivy strode through the street with the widest grin pasted to her face and she was sure her face was shining. She couldn't get his close proximity out of her head or the way he made her feel, as though she was perfect even after she showed him a very important part of her personality. She wasn't covered both literally and metaphorically and he stayed and he was about to kiss her. Her heart sped up at the thought and she yearned to feel his strong arms around her again. She didn't want to leave but she knew she couldn't stay longer. It was too dangerous and she wasn't that keen on getting in serious trouble the first night she went out. She waited patiently for the next bus to come praying for it to hurry up and arrive.
She jumped at the sound of her phone ringing in her pocket. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN IVY I NEARLY SHIT IN MY PANTS! IM NOT EVEN KIDDING IF YOU HADN'T ANSWERED I WAS GOING TO CALL THE COPS. I THOUGHT SOMEONE KILLED YOU," Tina yelled on the other side of the line and for some reason Ivy found it hilarious and laughed looking like a drunk on the street. "Why are you laughing? I sent you a thousand texts and called your home phone so many times!"
"Sorry Tina, I appreciate you worrying about me but there's nothing to worry about. At least there won't be if I make it home in a stable condition."
"Why wouldn't you make it home in a stable condition and where are you at this time of night have you gone bonkers?"
"You know what we're experiencing right now. Role changes." Ivy was the one who usually questioned Tina's sanity and actions not the other way around. "Ivy seriously your cheeriness is freaking me out, are you drunk?"
"Ouch, thanks." Ivy couldn't explain everything to Tina across the phone and the bus finally arrived. "Tina I'll talk to you tomorrow and tell you everything, the bus is here. Bye!"
"Why are you going on a bus....?" Ivy ended the call before Tina could continue and she walked into the vacant bus thankful to see her usual big bellied, long bearded bus driver Clint. She would've been on the edge of her seat, literally, if a stranger was driving the deserted bus at midnight. Not that this driver was a friend but she has known him long enough to know he wasn't an undercover psychopath late at night. "What's with the mask?" Clint asked curiously.
