Edward's POV
6 month, 22 days, 5 hours and 12 seconds. 13 seconds. 14... 15... 16... 17.
The seconds just kept passing by. But each one felt like an eternity to me.
That's how long Bella had been gone; how long ago the love of my life left me. She even missed Christmas, and not being here for the last year, I was hoping to ravish her with gifts. To spoil her because she was worth every penny.
But fate must hate me.
The pain in my chest got worse by the second and I no idea how much longer I could go on for. I wanted to go look for her again but my family said otherwise.
At thus current moment I was sitting on the carpet floor with my knees pulled to my chest. My eyes weren't closed but I wasn't looking at anything.
The rest of my family were in the room with me but I wasn't acknowledging them.
No one was talking and so the room was completely silent except for the sounds of my quiet, shallow breaths. Sure I didn't need to breath but it made me feel better. More human.
No one had been quite right since Bella had left. Carlisle and Esme had lost a daughter, Emmett and Jasper had lost a little sister, Alice had lost a best friend, a shopping buddy and a sister; and I had lost my mate. And we were all suffering, even Rosalie, though she was doing her best not to show it.
In my mind all I could think about Bella. The moments we had spent together, her angelic face; her big Doe like brown loving eyes...
Then I was searching the minds of my family, I felt like I was being pulled into another world.
There was an empty beach. The only things on it was a crooked looking beach house and two teenagers. One boy, one girl.
The girl had long, black hair and a pale completion. Light blue eyes that looked like they held mischief at one point but now held sadness, pain. She had her head on the boys' shoulders. He had the same black hair but his eyes was emerald green that was hidden behind wire frames glasses. He, like the girl, was also pale.
Somehow they looked like they could be siblings.
"I can't believe he's gone" the boy whispered as a tear ran down his cheek.
"He helped all of us so many times. But there's no time like the present." The girl said as she got unsteadily from her position on the ground.
A dead animal.
Well, if it was an animal it wasn't an animal he had ever seen before. It was small and had pale green complexion. With big round eyes and pointy, large ears. He was wearing what looked like a pillow case covered in... blood!
The girl started to ducked down to grab the lifeless animal from the boy's arms.
But he Pulled away from her and mumbled "Go be with Charlie Cass he came all this way to be with you."
Nodding her head, the girl stand on her tippy toes to give the boy a kiss on his cheek she turned around to go inside the small house.
That's when I was able to see who the girl was. The girl that Alice had say was Bella, now I could see the resiblince of this girl and my Bella it was defiantly her.
"Bella!" I whispered as I jumped up from my position on the floor.
My families heads all turned at the mention of her name. All except for Alice who like myself had already seen it.
"What about Bella?" What did you see? Is she hurt?" My mother worriedly asked me as she bombarded me with questions.
"N-No" I stuttered not knowing what entirely sure what to say, not entirely sure what I saw.
Who was she with. A brother? No she doesn't have any siblings, a friend? Didnt look familiar, unless he was from Arizona. Then again Bella never mentioned much about her friends; if they had been that close wouldn't she have mentioned him. But like Bella he was oddly pale so unless he had the same genes as her he should be tanned, living in Arizona and all... A boyfriend? I couldn't even allow myself to think about that.
"Edward, Edward" I heard my father call to me.
"What? I asked as I looked around me, " Oh sorry, I spaced out".
"What did you see son" Carlisle softly asked.
"Bella. I saw Bella. Except she looked completely different and was covered in blood but it wasn't her blood, and she was on a empty beach with some boy and they were holding some sort of dead creature that looked somewhat a Chihuahua. But the most important thing was that Bella's alive.
I said this all so quickly that I didn't even know if the rest of my family could understand me.
"Slow down son" Carlisle said to me, "You said that you saw some sort of dead creature, did it look like anything that you've seen before?"
"No it was pale green with large eyes and these pointy ears. It looked pretty bony and fragile." Alice butted in before I could say anything.
Carlisle shook his head.
"Doesn't sound like anything that I've seen before"
"Then what was it? Where exactly is Bella and what is she doing?" Rose asked but nobody had the answers to answer.
"And what about the boy?" Emmett interrupted, "What did he look like?"
"He had really black hair like she did, green eyes he wore thin, round glasses and was probably just a few inches taller than Bella."
"Maybe she's cheating on you!" Rosalie blurted out.
"Rosalie!" My mother scolded.
"Rose, you know Bella would never do that" Emmett told her with a disapproving tone.
"Well what do you expect me to think? Huh, I mean she left us without even a goodbye and only a letter explain. Charlie's don't remember even having a daughter and now not to mention you're seeing her with some random boy! It's been six months. Its obvious that she's not coming back!" She yelled
"WAIT!" Alice squealed so loudly it made my ears ring.
"What?" I asked curiously, "What is it... Is it- Do you-"
"It just the boy called her Cass and there was someone there to see her I didn't catch the name." And it was the same boy she was with from the last vision I saw, remember the one with the exploding house." Alice explained, "Though I wonder where the other girl was?"
