"Here comes the sun
Here comes the sun, and I say
It's all right"I search through my case for my flip phone. Usually I would let my phone ring repeatedly just for the sake of listening to this song. Flashes of childhood memories comes through my mind. California was filled with sunshine. But today being the cold winter day, I found it rather upsetting and ironic. Because New york legitimately does make everything seem like a cold long winter. I had ditched Eva's hideous coat and now I am paying the price for it.
"Hey, Eva."
"Hey, what's up? Are you on the street? It sounds so loud."
"Yeah, you could say that. I had to take a freaking taxi to my interview since you bailed. Only now, the money you gave me wasn't really a round trip. "
Eva laughed for what felt like ten minutes before she said, " Hold up I'm on my way, okay? I just need 5 minutes and I'll be there in a jiffy."
"Are you sure you'll make it in 5 minutes?" I question her, unsure if I should rely on her time management skills.
"I said I'll be there, Charie. No need to be on my case about it." She sounded annoyed over the phone. I swear I could feel her rolling her eyes.
"Okay I'll be waiting." I sing out loud, attempting to annoy her more. I'm usually serious most times, but I took every opportunity to annoy Eva. It was rather amusing.
"Whatever, bye." She hangs up the phone. I end my call and close the flip phone, putting it back in my case. Hopefully she shows up on time. She litterally said five minutes. I'm giving her five minutes. Only three hundred seconds to go.
There I go again counting down.

"So let me get this straight, you felt a spark when you shook his hand?" Eva said as she was picking up some breadless chicken less nuggets. We were currently at Whole Foods. She mentioned that she was running low on food.Im guessing she is attempting to try out the vegan life style again.
"I said stinging sensation. Don't get it twisted." I stated whilst pushing the small green mini cart.
"Same thing. You just worded it differently."
"Phrased. I phrased it differently." I corrected her. Eva pauses as she picks up the extra virgin coconut oil glowering toward my direction.
"Stop trying to change the subject! Was he looking directly into your eyes the entire time?"
"Well, no. Not the entire time."
Eva throws almond butter into the cart."Was it like, really intense or at ease?" She asked.
I pondered for a moment, wondering whether it was just a figment of my imagination. He seemed to rather flirtatious. But yet he could just be a friendly guy.
"I guess you could say it was rather intense." I concluded. There was no way I would imagine this in my head. He was definitely flirting with me. It shouldn't take Einstein to figure that out. But then again I could be wrong. But that's highly unlikely. I have a photographic memory.
"On a scale of one through ten, how would you rate it?" Eva questioned me. We had entered into the organic fruit and vegetable section. She grabbed a small clear see through plastic bag picking out avocados.
"Im not rating anything. You're making it seem to be one of those classic Star-Crossed love affairs."
"Why not?! You've been so cooped up in school work you barely have time for yourself." She exclaimed whilst tying the plastic bag and dropping them into the cart.
