I hope to ink this. This is Gwendal throwing his monocle at the enemy. Much like his cane, his monocle is loaded with sophisticated uses such as the little saw blades in the monocle rim/frame. He holds the string and whips it around, the string extends and he can -wrap the rope around someone's ankle to trip them (or cut off the ankle) -wrap around someone's neck to strangle or behead them. -wrap around and cut limbs off - can be use to bound someone for awhile. -etc.
And those are just the uses for the blades! There's more uses for other things.
