Sighing I tucked a loose strand of brown hair behind my ear. Carefully staring at his face I felt a pang of happiness. I finally found him.

"I believe in doing the right thing and I couldn't go about my business without letting you know that you have a kid out there." I said softly, putting my hand on top of his. He nodded, his eyes still not blinking.

"So you're keeping it?" I pulled away from his grasp, appalled. It felt like somebody had whipped me it stung so bad. He looked up at me, stunned. I just glared at him, angry tears filling my eyes.

"How dare you think that I am going to murder my own child!" I shouted, the anger in my words thick. Dean stood up, his eyebrows in his hairline and his hand outstretched.

"I - I didn't mean to offend you like that - I'm freaking out ok! I'm sorry!" He yelled back. Pushing down my top I crossed my arms.

"As a hunter I may be many things, a killer is defiantly one of them - but my baby? My own child? No. Come on Dean..." I whispered angrily, yanking the door handle and storming off. A puzzled looking Jody stood a few feet away but I ignored her, marching straight past her.

"Wait!" I heard Dean yell, but I kept going, walking round the winding staircase I found the door and escaped as someone was coming in. I didn't know what to expect when I thought of telling him. But that did not go well. Going to grab my car keys in my bag I froze, remembering that at the motel, my car wouldn't start so I'd taken a taxi here. Both my phone and the number for the taxi were in my bag. Which was back inside the house.

"You have got to be kidding me!" I yelled, kicking a rock into a nearby car. I knew exactly where my bag was. I could picture it on the kitchen table. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't leave it. I needed everything in it. Silently cursing with all the swear words I knew I swallowed my pride and opened the door only to came face to face with the person I did not want to see right now.

"I just came back to get my bag." I mumbled, making my way to the kitchen. Or trying to. The guy I'd bumped into earlier blocked my path. Now I was closer I could appreciate how much room he took up by just stuffing his hands in his pockets. Sighing I pushed past him to the kitchen.

"Sorry." He mumbled after me. Dean was a few paces behind me.

"Megan." Dean said, leaping in front of me and blocking my path, his arms extended.

"Please just don't. It's ok. I don't even know what I was expecting. I don't even know why I told you - just forget I said anything." I said, biting my lip and moving past him, only for his hand to catch my inner elbow. I could have easily broken free but I didn't move.

"Please just - let me have some time to process this. It's... Megan we're talking about a life..." He pleaded. I opened my mouth to say something when the lights flickered then crackled and popped, plunging us into darkness. I didn't hesitate. Taking out my gun and phone I turned the flashlight on and scanned the room. The room was clear apart from the other beams of light coming from the few hunters that were left. Looking back at Dean I saw he had his gun out too, his torch mounted on top of it. He nodded, an indication that we should group with the other hunters. Turning the corner I was blinded by a torch. Wincing I stood up straight.

"This shouldn't be possible. I have a backup generator." Mrs Foster said, her hand over her mouth.

"Ok, then we need to leave." Dean said walking to the door and turning the knob. When it didn't open he pulled harder, causing the whole door to glow red with wards.

"Great." I mumbled, lowering my gun.

"Alright we need to split up and try to find an exit. Sam and Jody, you take upstairs, me and Megan will check down here, Stan you look after Mrs Foster and Raven and Jay, try and get the door open." Dean said, giving the one he called Sam a small device with an aerial and at least six lights. Sam... oh! His brother. That's why I recognised him. He slipped away after Dean gave me the 'sex face' after the hunt. I smiled sheepishly.

"It's ok - I'll go with Jody." I said, taking a step towards her.

"No that's alright, you're with me." Dean said, taking a step towards me so that we were almost touching. I shot Jody a pleading look. She shrugged, her eyes wide and innocent.

"Well I have to insist." I said, finally looking at him. He was staring down at me, his eyes too intense. My stomach flipped nervously.

"So do I." He whispered.

"Ah, Dean. A moment please." Sam said, staring at Dean though Dean was still pleading at me with his eyes.

"No." He said to Sam before turning to the group. "We don't know what we're up against so be ready for anything." Nodding they all went to do their assigned jobs. With one last hopeful look at Jody I followed Dean deeper into the house.

Checking behind every door and shadowy corner in the pool table room we moved through the hallways stealthily.

"I'm in shock." He said, his torch following his eye line across our pathway.

"Not now." I whispered, quickly looking into a different room. It was clear.

"I didn't mean to offend you earlier. I didn't mean to say that it just slipped out. Of course you're keeping the baby, I wouldn't expect anything else. I really am sorry." He stopped, his voice thick with remorse. I turned to him and sighed, my arms lifting then falling with a smack on my coat.

"It's okay. It's just a touchy subject. I still don't know what I'm doing - what my plan is..." I shook my head.

"Well where were you headed? After you told me?" I scratched my head and combed it back into place.

"I don't really know... stop hunting I guess. Have the baby, get a paying job and a house. Not necessarily in that order." I said, lowering my gun as we circled back to the kitchen, having found nothing. Dean opened his mouth to say something when there was an ear piercing scream. We ran to the main hallway only to find Stan on the floor, his head completely twisted around. Then everything went black.
