"I didn't realise it was this late. Five fifteen am." Dean said, glancing at his watch. I looked around at the dispersed trees.

"Where are we?" I whispered more to myself.

"Just outside of town." He said, sliding off the hood of the car and holding out his hand for me. I took it and, gracefully hopped down.

"Our motel is just half a mile from Asa's house near the diner -" I stopped listening, the feeling of excitement filling me as I felt a series of nudges deep inside my stomach. Placing my hand on my stomach I felt it there too. Still holding Deans hand I unknowingly squeezed it.

"What's wrong?" His concerned notes brought me back to reality. Smiling I took his hand into both of mine.

"Here..." lifting up my top I pressed his hand where mine had been seconds ago.

"I don't know if you can feel that, but he's kicking." I said warmly as I felt him move about.

"He?" He asked, his eyebrows shooting up.

"No - I don't know. I kind of change how I address her, I think it's better than 'it'." Deans cheeks flushed pink as he nodded.

"What does it feel like?" I frowned as I tried to pinpoint the feeling.

"Its weird. Everybody says it feels like butterflies trying to get free. I think it just feels like I have gas but... stronger, somehow." At this he laughed, his gaze lowering to our hands. I bit my lip as I saw a ghost of a smile on his lips in the dim light. It was genuine happiness. All at once I knew I made the right choice. He was going to be a good dad.

"I have a room at the motel on the edge of town. It's been a long day and I don't really feel like crying over a mother daughter reunion. Maybe we could stay there for the night? Or what's left of it, at least." I asked hopeful. It had been a long day. It was late and I was tired - besides, I didn't know what I was going to say to Jody once I did see her. I needed time to think. Dean took his warm hand off my stomach and fished the keys out of his pockets, fiddling with them.

"Okay." He said before bunching up the brown out bags and throwing them into the back of the car. Opening the door I slid in and buckled the seatbelt. Man I was full. Before Dean squeaked open the door I swiftly unbuttoned my jeans and pulled my top over my lap. Smiling gently I watched as he readied the car before we took off, the engine beneath us rumbling pleasantly.

"I really like your car." I said, my hand feeling the leather interior. The half of his face I could see beamed.

"She is a beauty." He agreed, patting the dashboard. Rubbing my thumbnail soothingly across my palm I fought my instinct to fill the silence.

"I kinda feel like I've been over sharing. What about you? What's your reason for getting in to hunting?"

"Dean we have to talk." At the sudden husky voice behind me I screamed, jumping around to see a man in a trench coat sitting in the back seat. He turned his intense blue eyed gaze to me, cocking his head to one side. I pushed myself away from him, so that the seat belt was around my back, which curved around the dash board. My heartbeat in my throat I looked at Dean and then back to the person who had materialised out of no where.

"Cas, we gave you a phone for a reason." Dean said sounding cross. I frowned.

"Slightly expecting a different reaction." I said, unable to control my panting.

"Megan this is Cas, Cas this is Megan. He's an angel." Dean said, slowing the car to a stop.

"Figuratively? Like 'oh he's a little angel' or literally considering he just appeared. From nowhere? Never mind I answered my own question." I blurted as, who I now knew as Cas continued to stare at me. Dean turned, putting his elbow over the chair and faced Cas. The angel.

"I am Castiel. I am an angel of the lord - do not be afraid." He said in a deep voice. Dean rolled his eyes.

"What do you want?" For the first time since he got here Cas looked at Dean and disappeared. I blinked, my eyes searching the back row of seats.

"Invisible or gone?" I whispered, my heartbeat returning to normal.

"Gone. Are you okay?" He asked, a hint of a smile in his voice. Wide eyed I turned to him before sitting normally in my seat, adjusting my seatbelt, shrugging.

"Oh please. I hunt monsters for a..." is there a God? I finished in my head. I frowned. "Angels are real. Of course Angels are real. I mean, demons are real so why not angels and heaven and God and hell and lucifer." Dean pursed his lips, as if he wanted to say something. Instead he put the hand break down continued to move the car. My hand, which was on my chest, rose and fell quickly though I was trying my best to hide it.

"It makes sense I'm just suddenly thinking about all the horrible stuff I did when I was a teenager." I said, regretting the rebellious choices I'd made.

As we pulled up to the motel I pointed ahead of us to the parking slot directly in front of my room.

"And there's the crappy car that gave up on me this morning." I said as we pulled up next to my silver Jeep.

"What's wrong with it?" Dean asked, cutting the engine.

"The engine made a clunky sound and then it started to smoke so I thought it needed more water but I think something just... exploded. I think the fan might be broken again." I said, grabbing my bag and combing through it.

"I'll fix it for you in the morning. Or just later, I guess." Dean said calmly. I stopped rummaging through my bag and looked up at him. This was weird. I wasn't used to people doing things for me... or worrying about me. I wasn't used to being around people for this long. Or caring. Realising that I was staring at him I shifted my gaze to the steering wheel.

"You don't have to. I know how to fix it I just didn't have the time." I said, my voice ridiculously high. I blushed and continued to rummage through my bag until I found the crescent moon keychain attached to my room key. Making a satisfied sound Dean patted my shoulder gently.

"I'll see you later." I frowned.

"Where are you going?"

"No where. I'm staying here. In my car." My frown deepened.

"To do what?"

"Sleep." I scratched the back of my ear. Why would he voluntarily want to sleep in here? Sure it was nice and comfy but he was defiantly gong to get a sore neck.

"What's the point? Just sleep in the room. It's a double bed and I don't hog the covers. Promise." I lightened my expression when I realised he might be avoiding sleeping next to me. "Don't worry, I'm not going to jump you in your sleep." I added in a soft voice. Looking between my eyes he undid his belt and opened the door. As he did he whispered something that sounded like 'You do too hog them.'
