Bo's party went really well and he loved his truck. I slept in the spare room last night as Katie was furious and that was the easy option. I got up and got showered and dressed and sprayed my favourite cologne, put on my cap and headed downstairs.
The kids where sitting at the table eating breakfast
"Hey where is your mama" I asked
"She out back daddy, she ain't in a good mood" Caydence said
"Well I better go see if I can help her" I said patting Tate on the head
I went outside and Katie was hanging out washing
"Is that you going to meet your homewrecking whore" she said
"Katie, I'm going to meet a friend and I would appreciate it if you didn't use language like that near the kids" I said
"Fuck you" she hissed as she threw a peg at me
I turned and headed to my truck.
Damn she irritates me, she never used to be like this.
I was headed up the I65 towards Nashville and I was actually looking forward to seeing Anna now, I needed to blow off some steam.
