I arrived in Tulsa 8 hours later it was one hell of a drive and I was absolutely knackered. I called Anna
"Hey babe, I will be with you in about 10 minutes, can you please have a beer ready for me" I said
"Hey, yeah sure y'all want something to eat as well"
"Yeah please peanut butter and jelly sandwich"
"What are you like five" she said laughing
"Do I fuck like a five year old" I said
"Luke Jesus hahaha" she said laughing real loud
"Welll"
"No you don't, I will have it ready for you. Do you remember where I stay" she said
"Of course I do, see you soon"
I drove up the tree lined street and pulled into Anna's house. It was just like I remembered it. I pulled into her drive and she was standing at the front door. I smiled and waved
"Hey Luke, so you finally got rid of your ball and chain" she said
"With a heavy heart yes, but you know how I feel about you calling her that so I would appreciate it if you didn't say it" I said
"Whoa someone is grumpy, is your neck annoying you" she asked
"Yes."
"Well come on in and I will ease those knots"
I grabbed my bag and headed inside, giving her a quick kiss on the way past.
"You look annoyed baby, wanna talk about it"
"Yes but not now, right now I need one of your massages and a bath, preferably with you" I said pinning her against the wall. At that moment I knew this was purely physical and I think she knows that.
"You know I am always a fan of that" she said leading me upstairs.
She run a bath for the both of us and we got in. Me at the back and she sat between my legs.
"You know that was probably the hardest thing I have ever done. Saying goodbye to Katie was bad enough but the kids, oh my god Anna I almost never came. Tate thinks it's his fault. Caydence refused to talk to me and Bo said he was more of a man than me"
"Oh Luke im sorry. I know what we have is purely physical I knew that from the start but I am actually falling for you a little. I know you love Katie, but I have you now and I can live with that" she said
She turned and faced me and then she started kissing me.
"Let's take this to the bedroom"
I lifted her out the bath and in to why would now be our bedroom.
