4 months later....
Katie and I have been really good this last few months and it is been like the good old times. Anna has had a few scans and she is carrying my baby. Her and Brett are still together and he at first was upset that it wasn't his baby but he is going to stand by her.
The phone rang and I saw Katie get up to answer it, I saw her face drop and I knew it was Anna on the phone. Although she has been really understanding about it I know it must be killing her inside,
"Yeah I will just get him" I heard her say
"Baby, Anna on the phone for you" she said handing me the phone. She walked away and I actually saw tears in her eyes
"Anna hang on two minutes I will call you back" I said
I hung up the phone and went after Katie
"Baby talk to me what's wrong" I said trying to pull her into a hug
"She is having a girl" she said crying
"Katie, Caydence is my baby girl she always will be." I said
"It ain't that baby, now that we know what she is having it's all so real now. I know I said I am
Fine with everything, but it just hit home right there" she said crying
"Baby I don't need to do this you know that you are the kids are my family. If you want me not to have anything to do with this just say the word and I won't" I said
"Oh yeah and I'm the bitch that stops there daddy seeing his little girl" she yelled
"Whoa Katie come on I wouldn't think that." I said
"You might not but she would remind everyone" she said
"Baby come here" I said pulling her close "you are my world my everything, I want you to be involved in everything, I want you to be there for every moment I am. Without you and the kids I am nothing. Please don't leave me" I said hugging her tight
"Luke I ain't going to leave you. I'm just telling you how I feel. Just ignore me" she said
"Katie I ain't ignoring your feelings. I'm the one who created this whole drama, and without you by my side I can't do it" I said
"Luke call her back, tell her from now on any appointments you have that in coming with. I want to know everything that's happening. It's not that I don't trust you I do, it's her I don't trust"
