Introduction

Kimberly's POV

"Please dad I beg you, don't go." I cry,

My tears making my dad's camouflage uniform wet. Tears rushing down my face.

"Honey, don't cry. I love you." I can tell he's trying not to cry. Out of all jobs he chooses army, why? why army?

I look over to my sisters and mother. "I love you to." I say and mean it.

"Come here girls." my sisters run into his arms, both Of my sisters are older then me. Ashleigh is the oldest and Tamanna is the second oldest then there's me, little 'Kimmy'.

I look back over to my mom and she's crying but is trying to force a smile, today's going to be the worst day of my life.

"Jane." My dad calls my mother over. She smiles and walks over, they share a kiss and a hug but I don't mind since this is the last time my mom will kiss anyone.

"There here to pick me up now." A car screech was heard from outside. I can't do this, I need a father figure in my life.

What happens if he dies? what if he doesn't come back? I realise through all of this I'm brought back to reality from my negative thoughts.

"Promise me, anyone tells you do to do anything and you don't want to, don't do it." my dad whispers next to my ear. I'm going to loose it again for several times today.

We all follow him out the door to the rusty old grey car.

"I'm going to miss you so much." my mother says her tears all over the place.

He nods and walks towards the car placing his big suitcase in the boot.

He walks back towards us and we all hug him. I take a deep breath of his cologne and I hope it will stay forever.

"Bye I love you all too much." He cries, I'm scared this will be the last time I see him.

He gets into the car and we all end up in tears. The car starts to drive and I try and talk but the only thing I can mange to whisper is..

"I love you."
