A/N: GAH sorry! I'm so bad about updating, much apologies!! Here's a longer chapter as a repayment:)

He clears his throat. "Long story. I'll tell you later." He mumbles, acting rather evasive. His eyes flit to the door, which opens slowly. I raise an eyebrow at him, but he shakes his head slightly, and motions to the nurse. What is he hiding from me? The nurse smiles and I blink a few times to make sure I'm seeing who I think I'm seeing. She's surprisingly young, and very familiar. "Emily?" I ask, shocked to see her. I thought she wasn't real! She nods slowly "Yes...how did you-" Jordan sighs "She created a dream world. I think you were in it too." She nods again. "You were my roommate." I say almost sadly. She smiles weakly "Do you know what's happened Ali?" she asks, sitting by the bed. I nod "Jordan explained it pretty well." She smiles again "Good. How do you feel?" I sigh "Fine, I guess. A little shaken up, but I'll manage." I then glance at my arm again. "This, however..." I say, holding it up. She presses her lips together "You'll have to go through some physical therapy. But they'll regain strength pretty fast." I glance at Jordan, who sits silently, watching. "When do I get out?" She shrugs "Today, I suppose. This happens sometimes. Comatose patients will just wake up and be completely fine. You'll have to come back for checkups, but you're free to go as soon as we clear your paperwork." She says calmly. She is very well suited for this job. I nod, wrinkling my forehead. "What about my parents? Don't they need to know I'm out or something? And how am I getting back to Seattle? And also, how did I get to LA in the first place?" I ask. This portion of my information is still missing. She tenses up slightly, glancing at Jordan. He seems to shake his head slightly. I raise an eyebrow "What's going on?" She clasps her fingers "Ah... you're 18 now. We transferred you here when we knew it would be a while before you woke up. We don't need your parents to pick you up. It's up to you what you do after this." She says quietly. I know something's off. She's not telling me something. And Jordan is in on it. But now isn't the time to figure it out. But I'm not sure what I'll do. "Um...ok then." I say slowly. She sighs, and glances at the clock. "You are handling this very well." She remarks. "On the outside." I say, smiling slightly. "I can't imagine..." she says, trailing off. "You said I was your roommate?" she continues, seeming to grasp for a topic. Almost like she doesn't want me to bring up anything else. I nod "Yes. Did you talk to me? I mean, while I was under." I ask. This seems to be a common factor in everyone who was in my dream. She nods "That's probably why I was there." She says, fascinated. Another nurse walks in with a clipboard. "She's good." She says, and walks back out. She seems familiar too, but I can't quite place her. Maybe a classmate? Em nods, and turns back to me. "You're free to go." She says with a smile, and stands. She unfolds a wheelchair from the corner. I test out my legs for the first time, and I'm not very pleased. They're weak, so weak they don't even support my weight. I stumble out of the bed and collapse down in the chair, frowning. Jordan wheels me out, and to my surprise, nurses start applauding. They stop what they are doing and smile, watching me leave. I suppose it's rare that anyone really gets out of this ward.

Jordan wheels me out to his car, which is even more confusing. "Jordan I want some answers. How did I get here? What am I supposed to do next? And where in the heck are my parents?" I say as soon as I'm in the car. He sighs, folding the wheelchair and throwing it in the back. "They moved you here, just like Emily said. The rest is a little more complicated." He says, starting the car and starting to drive to where I would assume is his condo. But I still have no idea why. "We have time." I say, getting a bit irritated. He raises an eyebrow "Alright then. You passed out in the GameStop, and didn't wake back up. Clear on that?" he says, mimicking my mood. I roll my eyes, grinning slightly. "Yes." I mumble, feeling like he's scolding me. But really, I should just be glad he's here. "Good. Mitch brought you to the hospital. He kept visiting you for a while. Then they Medevac'd you here, to LA. He was moving to the new house around then. At least, that's what he told me." He says, seeming tense just by talking about Mitch. "Anyways, you said my name once. And he wanted to see if I could get you to wake up. So he called me." He says. I raise an eyebrow. He smiles slightly at my expression "Yes, it was as awful as it sounds. We worked out a sort of schedule, so we weren't there at the same time. But we both felt responsible for you." He says, frowning a bit. "Why? I mean, you didn't even know me." I say, still confused. He smiles "Yes. I still don't. But I felt like I owed it to you and the other fans. That maybe I could do something for you guys. If you were dreaming of me, maybe I could help you wake up." He says, and my heart warms slightly. "Thanks." I whisper, and he shrugs "Nothing compared to everything you guys have done for me." He pauses for a moment. "I just talked to you a lot. You became the friend I didn't really have. You just listened." He says with a slight smirk. "What did you tell me?" I ask, genuinely curios about how much of my dream was true. He sighs "Everything. About Mitch, about Ryan, about my scars and the channel. I had no one else to talk to." I'm slightly surprised to feel tears coming to my eyes. "So I do know you." I say, glad that not everything has changed. He smiles "I would imagine so. I just don't know you yet. But you did say things, sometimes." He says, grinning a bit. I raise an eyebrow, a little worried "What did I say?" He presses his lips together, trying not to laugh. "Aside from the many sarcastic remarks, 'I love you.' 'You saved me.' And once you yelled 'Your boy' really loud." He chuckles a bit. I blush deeply, but can't help but laugh too. I guess all that is out there. It must seem weird; to have someone obsessed enough with you that they date you in an alternate world. "Oh geez." I mumble. "Were you talking to me?" he asks, glancing over. I bite my lip, hesitant. But then I nod. He smiles "I thought so." I twist my fingers, suddenly nervous. "Is that a good thing?" He grins a bit "Maybe." I think he's doing this on purpose. Just to make me squirm. I sigh "I guess I'll have to find out myself." He smiles at me "Looking forward to it." I glance out the window "By the way, are we going to your house?" He nods "Yeah. I was hoping you'd stay for a bit." I scoff "Do I really have a choice. You could abduct me right now if you wanted to." I say, laughing. He laughs too "True. I'll try not to. But no promises." I take a deep breath, and look at him for a moment "Seriously though, where am I going after this? And where are my parents?" I ask, growing worried again. He presses his lips together. "Actually I was going to ask if you would stay with me for a while. I don't think there is much left for you in Seattle." He says quietly.

An uneasy feeling grows in my stomach "Jordan where are my parents?" I ask again, trying to deny the possibilities that are springing to my mind. He sighs "I'll tell you once we're inside." He says, pulling into a garage below a housing complex. I start to panic a bit "Why?" I say, my voice a bit shaky. His face looks pained. "Come on." He says, unfolding the wheelchair. I can feel myself pale, but I know I'll find out soon enough, so I hop over into the chair, my face growing white. But I should try to savor these moments before we get upstairs. Because I have a very bad feeling that things are going to get much, much worse.

A/N: OH NO. WHAT IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENED. *evil cackle* drop a comment saying what you think happened to her parents, and slap dat vote button for drama!
