A/N: Thanks for being so patient guys! Here's some TC drama for ya:)
*Mitch's POV*- 4 days later.
"Guys, we need to have a team meeting." I say to everyone that is already in the kitchen, eating breakfast. "'Bout what?" Jason asks, mouth full of cold pizza. I glance at Jerome. He's the only one I've talked to about this. He clears his throat "We have a proposal about adding a new member." He says slowly. Adam raises an eyebrow, and Ian chuckles "Stuff just got real." I sigh "Anyone care to guess who?" I throw out, because YOLO, right? Ty grins, raising his hand "This isn't school Ty!!!" Adam yells, throwing a handful of cereal at him. Everyone bursts out laughing. That's just how it is around here. No one is ever really serious. Unless, there is a real problem. And there might be, in a few moments. Ty shakes a few frosted flakes out of his hair, pouting. "Is it Ty's left foot?" Jason asks serious, winding a fake mustache, and adding more laughter to the room. "Just as long as it's not another fish." Adam mumbles, grinning. Quentin glares at him. I shake my head "No, and no worries Adam." Jerome groans "GOD DANGIT MITCH JUST TELL THEM!" he yells. Adam screams and shoves Jason in front of him, hiding. Jason just laughs. "Ok, really though, who is it?" Ian asks, quieting us down a bit. Quite the accomplishment, actually. I take a deep breath "Ryan." I say. The entire room goes dead silent. This is what I thought might happen. "Isn't he Jordan's friend?" Jason asks softly, raising an eyebrow. "Yeah..." I say. "And he doesn't even have a million subs." Ty adds. I sigh "I think he'd go really well with the group. The fans want it. They've been spamming the comments for ages." "On your channel." Quentin says quietly. I sigh. "Yes." Adam looks at the ground "Can we really let him in with so few subs? I mean, isn't that why we kicked Seto?" The tension is tangible by this point. I swallow, painfully reminded. "There were other reasons for that." Jerome defends me, aware of my pain. Ty looks at us both "That doesn't make it any more right, and you know that." Ty's still not quite over it. They are all acting strangely. "Ryan's just... I'm not sure he fits well with this group." Adam says, shifting his weight. Jerome scoffs "So you just don't like him then?" Ty stands up a little straighter. "He tends to be a bit, well, arrogant." I raise an eyebrow "What do you mean?" Quentin shrugs "He doesn't really act like us. Sure he's funny, but he isn't kind. He's different." I narrow my eyes "Look at us! We are probably the most random and different group of people that you could find. How is Ryan somehow excluded from that?" I say, getting irritated. "Look, Mitch, I know he's your friend and all, but he has never recorded with the rest of us." Adam says tersely. "I have. I think he's fine." Ian says. I'm glad at least one of them is on my side. Jason nods in agreement. "That can change for the rest of you." Jerome adds, glancing at Adam, Quentin, and Ty. Ty raises an eyebrow "We can't just let someone in that we aren't all ok with, or don't get along with. That would tear us apart! Even this conversation is tearing us apart!" I look down "Can you guys just give him a chance?" Adam sighs "We could just as easily say 'Oh hey, Jordan, want to come live with us?' How would you like that?" he says, a bit bitterly. My eyes flare "Do not bring him in to this!" I say, stepping forward. Jerome places a hand on my chest, holding me back. I step down a bit, taking a deep breath. "Ty's right. This is just causing a lot of stress for everyone." Quentin says. Ian sighs "I think we do owe it to Ryan to at least give him a chance." I nod, and so does Jason. Adam looks at him, a bit hurt. "Fine. Let him in. We'll see what happens. It's not like I've ever had a say anyways." Ty says, throwing his hands up. He turns and walks out, anger behind his eyes. "Ty!" Jerome yells after him. "Whatever guys." Adam mumbles, and follows Ty, probably to comfort him.
I bury my face in my hands. That went horribly. Quentin leaves more quietly, sort of fading into the background. Jason and Ian talk quietly off to the side, and Jerome stands by me, not saying anything. After a moment, I look up, taking a deep breath. "I'm going out for a bit." I announce, trying to keep myself under control. I walk out before anything gets worse.
I get into my car, and drive. I'm not really sure where to. It's absolutely ridiculous for them to act like this over a person they barely know. They haven't even given him a chance! I know that he's going to be in whether they like it or not. But what worries me is what might happen to Ty and Adam and Quentin. What they might do if things don't work out.
I find myself driving to Jordan's to see Ali. She always has a clear mind on these kinds of things.
A/N: Be looking forward to the next update on Thursday! Slap dat vote button if you enjoyed, and drop a comment about why you think the three guys actually left! This is just my take on it. It seemed like too much of a coincidence. Ryan joins, and those three promptly leave? Sure, no drama. Sure....
