Y/N

I peeked through the door where Mama was mopping the kitchen. "Mama?" I called out, she snapped her eyes at me, and walked closer. "Honey, you can't be here, I have work. Just stay in the room." she said.

I gave her a pout, I've been in that room all week— and I've done nothing interesting at all.

"Fine." I sighed, walking back.

I used to live with Papa, since Mama worked as a maid in the Blossom's household, since I could remember. She usually slept here and came back on holidays. I was really close to Papa, but he got sick, really really sick. He passed away, and now I'm also living in the Blossom's house, in the Maid's Room.

We aren't exactly the most wealthy, in fact we were kinda poor. But we could still manage, Mama could still afford to make me go to school. Luckily, it's currently summer break.

I blow out a breath, before walking back to the Maid's room. Since the house was huge, I found myself getting lost.

But instead of struggling, I ended up finding a door, that leads to the backyard, which is basically the woods, where the Blossom's made their maple syrup. I walked through the path, this place was filled with trees.

"Who are you?" I jumped at the voice, I turned around and met eyes with a pair of blue ones. I tilt my head to the side, "Who are you?" I asked, furrowing my brows at the ginger headed boy.

"Jason Blossom. I live here. Who are you? I've never seen you before." he commented. "I'm Y/N Y/L/N. My Mama works here." I replied, examining his face.

"Y/L/N? Why haven't I seen you before? Your Mom has been taking care of me since I was a kid." he asked. "I've always lived with my Papa, but now I live here."

He nodded, not asking further. "Well, do you want to come with me? I'm going to show you something." he said. I shrugged, it's not like I've got anything else better to do.

I followed him, and soon we stopped by the bushes, "Did you just make me walk all the way here just to show me bushes?" I spoke, with a bit of sass in my voice.

Instead of replying, he pushed the bushes aside and walked through it. I follow his lead and walked through bushes, I gasped and took the view in front of me, a pond with a bridge on top of it. I ran to the bridge, "Woah" I looked at the fish below be.

"I found this place when I was trying to learn how to ride my bike, since my sister, Cheryl is in a summer school for cheer leading and instead ran over the bushes." he said. "Pretty neat, huh?" I turned to look at me. "Wait you're telling me that you don't know how to ride a bike?" I laughed, "How old are you again?" I joked.

His cheeks turned red, looking away. "I'm 13, and so what if I don't know how to ride a bike?" he said.

I stopped laughing. "Well if you want to, I could teach you." I offered with a smile on my face. He looked up at me, with a brow raised, "You won't make fun of me?" he asked, I chuckled "No promises." I said (so baby please no promises, cause we won't keep our promises. mendes army where you at?)

a few days later

"So how do you do this exactly?" he asked, sitting on the bike, balancing on his feet. "Well, you have to wear your helmet first." I crossed my arms, (clay? helmet?) he scoffed. "Pshhh, I don't need a helmet."

I raised my brow, "Okay." I replied, "So this is how my Papa taught me how to ride my bike, leave your left leg on the pedal, and use your other leg to kick yourself forward, multiple times. Then when you think you've got the right speed, place you foot on the paddle and just go on from there." I explained, (idk with you guys but thats how my dad taught me how to ride my bike)
