Tap!
"Can you please just tell me! I'll do anything! Please!" I burst out crying again. There was a new type of fear heavily suffocating me now and I wanted out. I wanted it to stop.
Tap! Tap!
Was this some creep...? First notion towards sexual creepy and I'm dialling 911.
Then again... This was already creepy... But not in a stalker-creepy... But like a paranormal type of creepy... I didn't know which was worse. But the logical sense of me didn't want to believe in anything but what my skepticism was telling me. No ghosts, Alyssa, no ghosts.
The suffocation was getting worse and I began to cough.
"A-Anything..." I managed. It was difficult to calm myself but I could manage – even for a moment. I tap twice.
Were they in my room...? Is this why they could see exactly what I did and hear what I said?! I tried searching for a place they could be hiding at, my eyes flying cautiously and restlessly to all the corners of my room. My eyes fly to my closet doors. I get up slowly and walk over to my closet. Hesitantly, I slide the doors open on both sides and feel for the light switch placed inside. Right when I push the switch, the power goes out again and there is a loud burst of thunder outside. For a moment, I can hear a type of soft cackling coming from the depths of my closet and I step back.
I need to get out of here. Pulling the doors closed, I jump to my room's door again and a wave of relief washes over me as my door actually opens this time. I run downstairs as fast as I can and grab my home phone, dialling 911.
"911 emergency, what are you reporting?" the voice was a man's that sounded much like my dad's so it soothed me.
"Pl-Please! There's a stranger in my house." I blurt out. I suddenly notice that since I spoke, there is a sort of static running through the line. I sniffle hard to keep my snot from flowing down my face. "Hello?" I call out but there is no response. "H-Hello? Please...?" My voice dies out when I hear a faint sound. I try putting one finger in my free ear to hear what the faint sound is better. It seems to sound like clicking at first but the louder it got, the more it hit me. I dropped the receiver slowly and backed away from it, the sound still repeating itself in my head. The constant... constant...

Also, this is actually the first book here that has no pre-planned plot, I'm actually just going where the book takes me, so even I don't know what's going to happen next. I'm looking forward to it, are you?
Also, I know there aren't many pictures in this chapter but let me tell you, my wifi and data package both decided to bail on me and I swear, it was probably both on 12 kbps, I know. They disappoint me too. I had to spend ages just to save the chapter, let alone post the pics. So do forgive me!
Next update will be day after tomorrow, on Wednesday, as planned (well, tomorrow now, since it's 1.02 AM here)
Wee, long author note, super excited.
Thanks again guys!
Toodlies
