I take my phone off my ear and look at the screen. My phone automatically restarts and I'm met with the familiar apple logo screen.
"Is everything alright, dear?" I hear the nun come up behind me. I turn to face her and nod. We walk out towards where we were having the coffee again.
"Okay... It's quite unusual, what's happening to me. I think I'm being haunted because –" I am interrupted by the nun.
"I have an idea. Why don't we speak to the father?" She suggested. I turn to her and nod. We walk back towards the front of the church and she asks me to wait. I admire the bible kept near the candlelight.
"Ah, Ms. Carter." I hear Father Maurice say behind me. I knew him since he was my grandfather's best friend. "Hello, Alyssa. What seems to be the problem? Sister Paula has mentioned you have some sort of interference bothering you?"
"I'm being haunted." I blurt out, getting straight to the point.
"Do elaborate. Take a seat." He urges us to sit down and we all take do so on a bench. "When did this start?"
"I... I think it's been dormant in my room for quite a while..." I begin to think over the strange instances that had taken place in my room which I had brushed off casually. "The other times... It wasn't so direct and obvious... Sometimes, I'd have pages upon pages of pointless history on my safari or chrome browser, I'd misplace my laptop of phone in my room even when I obviously remember where I kept it last. I brushed it off as my brother being annoying. I needed a logical explanation and... That was what I had. My brother being stupid."
