Ode to Shower

Shower of wonders,

oh how I

love thee.

Your white bowl

and metal shapes

hold the

strange liquid

known as water.

Turn it on,

behold, the loud

shushing starts.

Warm brings

steam,

most relaxing and

sickness relieving.

Cold may hurt,

but the water

gives great results

to pained athletes.

Bubbles,

suds,

soap,

all vanish

nauseating smells.

The combination of

the flowing water

and conditioner

in my hair,

so silky and

sweet scented.

The 20 (don't judge me, I like long showers) minutes

would be wasted

without you,

oh shower.

For I would be

smelly,

greasy,

messy,

no more

soft, silky hair.

I need you,

oh shower,

you saved lives,

vanished germs,

make all pain

disappear.

You created ideas,

made me

look and smell

like a daisy.

Thank you

for making

a sweaty,

yucky mess

like me

more presentable

and thoughtful.

My one and only

brain station
