Okay, so I came up with this challenge so that I can actually eat healthier for once in my life. You guys can play along, too. I'm starting it tomorrow because I already ate a lot of junk today and I'm feeling like changing my diet for about a week. Here are the rules:
1.) You can only eat anything with the word "salad" within it. That does not mean cake with the word salad on it, what I mean is something such as Caesar Salad, Fruit Salad, and Pretzel Salad. Come on, we need some kind of sweets and salts, don't judge me!
2.) If you don't have time to eat a salad, the only other exception is to eat some kind of vegetables-or if you don't have time/don't really eat that much, nuts are allowed.
3.) This is a healthy challenge, so no sodas or other sugary drinks allowed!
4.) The challenge lasts for 5 to 7 days. It varies on how long it takes you to "give up."
Like I said, feel free to play along with me. I'll try to post what I'm eating on a daily basis so that you guys know I'm not cheating the system. Before I start up this challenge, I just want to say what you can do for salad ideas if you really want something more than your usual lettuce and lunch meat. Make some chicken or lightly seasoned salmon, those meats are always the best to incorporate in with your greens. Not only could you make a full on meal with your salads, but you can make a sweet treat for your morning and late-night cravings. Just cut up what ever fruits you have in your pantry and fridge. Bananas, blueberries, raspberries, apples, and oranges are always what I'd go for when I want a fruit salad. What are you waiting for?
