This app is slowly becoming more and more like a curse to Wattpad users. It's like the more you write, he more terrible stuff happens to us. Idk if it has to do with them wanting us to write "interesting stuff" or if it's just a mere coincidence for all users, but I'm beginning to want to stop using this app. I haven't been effected yet, but a lot of the authors for the books I read have had terrible times. Examples (I don't remember their names, sorry):

⚫️An author became really sick and can't eat much because they have to have their weight down to 110 lbs. I don't quite remember the rest.

⚫️My friends are going through some tough times, whether it be depression, their parents, or any other angsty teen related problems we have at our age. Idk what to do because I can't change their family and they keep putting themselves down, sooooooo. Any suggestions? No? You can't stop someone who puts them self down all the time? Whelp, I'm just gonna jump off a roof real quick...

⚫️A car crash. Yes, one author actually got into a car crash and was the only one who actually got severely injured. She had to get 32 stitches near the side of her stomach, and couldn't breathe too well when the impact happened. I cried so much, it sounded worse than pain. She couldn't even cry while in the hospital, because if she did, her parents would freak out. She is the one holding the family together, the one who has to make jokes and smile no matter what. Imagine all the pain you have to hold in like that!

So you see, even though I didn't put as many examples (which is a good thing, the less the better), there are a lot of authors or Wattpad users who aren't quite having a good life at the moment. I'm praying as much as I can, even though I have missed another day of church due to my wanting to sleep in (selfish body and brain!). I beg all of you. Please be careful! If you find a time where you can make people happy, do it! It really does have an impact on you, as well as at least trying to be confident in yourself. Compliments such as, "Wow! You're really good at drawing!" are better than, "My drawing style is horrific, but yours could take out mine any day!" Please, for the sake of everyone. Don't make those kind of comments! They just hurt us as much as they hurt you.
