After eating ice cream, Blythe and I walked to our homes, since our homes were near each other."I'm still debating on whether or not I should tell you Guren's last words." Blythe said, breaking the silence between us.
"Well, I think you should tell me!" I smiled, causing Blythe to form a small 'O' with her mouth.
"I guess it's better for you to know," Blythe sighed. She then took my shoulders and looked at me.
"Just so you know, this isn't a love confession, so don't get your hopes up. Your love was always one sided," Blythe said sternly, and looked at me as if she was scanning me for emotion. I smiled.
"Gotcha. Now tell me!" Blythe nodded and let go of my shoulders.
"There'll be a day where the flowers die and the sun sets forever."
"What?"
"Guren's last words." Blyhe informed.
"Eh? 'There'll be a day where the flowers die and the sun sets forever?' Sounds like he's dying." I commented.
"He was dying." Blythe added.
"Right, I forgot." I laughed nervously.
"How could you forget that Guren was dead?" Blythe asked.
"I don't know, I just completely forgot. I thought he was still living and that we hadn't met Chels yet." I replied. Blythe sighed as we reached her house.
"Well, just so you know, Chelsea is not our friend. Your father just decided to have us work with her, so we have no intention on becoming her friend." Blythe said, not making eye contact with me.
"Sure, I guess. Its not like I really considered her my friend."
"Then why are you going to tell her your whole life story after school tomorrow?" Blythe asked, raising her voice.
"I completely forgot about that as well." I nervously answered, scratching the back of my head.
"Erissa, I know that you want her to know as much as she can about us so that she knows our fighting style, but I don't think telling her about yourself will do anything. Telling her more about Satou wouldn't help her either. I suggest you let her find out about these things alone." Blythe quietly said, going inside of her house.
I looked at the ground, kicking rocks that were in front of me.
What about Chelsea made her so not like her, anyway?
~
"Eri!" Chelsea screamed as I walked outside of my house.
Chelsea was across the street, waving at me.
I get that Chelsea was annoying, but-
Blythe suddenly zoomed pass in her motorcycle, which distracted me from my thoughts.
Blythe normally took me to school, but sometimes when she got mad at me, she would completely ignore me.
"Boo."
I jumped, hitting the person who whispered boo in my ear.
Turns out it was Satou.
"Satori!" I screamed.
"You finally called me by my first name." Satou commented, standing up.
I put my hands on my mouth.
"Why did you scare me?" I mumbled. Satou laughed.
"Just wondering. I wanted to see if you got scared or not." Satou responded, picking up his bag from the ground.
