Not completely original, the idea belongs to the creators of Trinity Seven. Though, some I have done some research on which is why this chapter took awhile to come out. I have made some spells and magic in this chapter completely on my own with extra research.
"Okay, you must listen!" Guren instructed, pointing at the group.
Guren was holding a meeting to discuss all the magic that the group could research to become stronger, especially Blythe, Erissa, and Chelsea.
"This magic was discovered just weeks ago, and the Magic Government wants us to test it out. For now, we call this magic Grimoire Castings, meaning that this magic energy needs a certain grimoire to work. There are seven classes to take, and the Magic Government has already assigned each of you one," Guren began, pointing at a chalkboard.
"Another thing, the magic associated to the certain grimoire is called Thema. Each class has a Thema. Thema is the thing that's farthest from yourself," Guren ended.
"Do we have to do research on this magic?" Chelsea asked.
"No, that is unnecessary. The grimoire assigned to you will have all the chants and magic you need. You have to use this magic when you fight, though," Guren replied.
"What are the classes and who are they assigned to?" Mimmy asked.
"I'm glad you asked, Sakurada. There are currently only six of us, so for now, we won't use the seventh class. Another thing, our Major Arcana cards are not of use for now. Stick to your Grimoire Casting class for now," Guren informed, erasing the stuff he previously wrote on the chalkboard.
Guren then started writing everyone's names on the chalkboard and pointed to Erissa's.
"Erissa, your class is called Luxuria. It is Latin for Lust," Guren started, giving Erissa a book with a purple gem on it.
"The Magic Government assigned you Luxuria because it possesses a large number of Thema centered around life and souls, specifically, Alchemy, the rules of equivalent exchange, and powers which consume everything in their path without relent are covered here. Your Thema will be Vanitas and Abies. Which translates to 'Nothingness' and 'Creation'. Vanitas is able to consume and return all of creation to nothing. The essence of Magic, as well as all seven archives, can be utterly erased by this power.
"Abies allows the use of a Magic known as Outer Alchemic, which allows the user, via rules of equivalent exchange, to create weapons for his/her own use. Erissa, you will be able to create any desired weapon. I assume its either a sword or a sniper," Guren explained, writing Erissa's class and Thema on the board.
"This is really complicated, but I think I got it," Erissa looked at her grimoire and smiled.
"By the way, that grimoire has a human form. If you're in serious trouble, it will appear. Its name is Yokubo. Yes, it is a girl," Guren informed.
"Yokubo.. doesn't that mean lust?" Blythe spoke up.
Guren nodded and pointed to Blythe's name on the chalkboard.
"Yuuki-chan, your class is Invidia, or Envy in Latin. Your grimoire has a gray gem in the middle and is named Senbo," Guren tossed his sister the grimoire and started writing down things on the board.
"I'm pretty sure you know why this class is for you, my dear sister. Invidia is centered around shaman magics and spells, thus techniques such as Ninjutsu. Your Thema is Expectation. Expectation allows its user to cast illusions and/or manipulate the wind, to such a point where it can become unclear whether the user is using skills as a ninja or magic. You could also use Luxuria's Abies."
