The next day, Guren had offered to give the group a lesson on magic, since they didn't really know much about it.

"Why can't we just take magic history class in school?" Blythe asked, a bit annoyed they were outside in a park learning about magic.

"Magic history class doesn't explain much, Blythe. You must learn from an expert!" Guren exclaimed.

"Oh? And where is the expert?" Mimmy smirked.

"Shut it, Sakurada. Do you want to learn or not?"

"Well, considering how hot it is right now, no. But yes, I want to learn."

Guren sighed.

"Let's get started on how magic was first founded."

Guren let out a blast of magic, showing illusions to the group to explain how magic started.

"So, magic was first founded by an adventurer named Trevor Valcrum in 2018. He was trying to defeat a council that had abused the island of Twilight Cove. Trevor passed magic onto his great granddaughter, Lucinda Valcrum. Over that time, Lucinda and her friends defeated the evil council and gained support of the people who lived on the island. Lucinda and her friends defeated many other villains after, thus making the Twilight Alliance.

"In 2023, Lucinda Valcrum, Mimmy Machicana, and Natalie Haaro discovered magic that could be put into a card. They called it Tarot Cards, the most powerful ones were called the Major Arcana cards. Lucinda, Mimmy, and Natalie passed the cards onto the world. Humanity was happy with their discovery and started using magic more often.

"By 2026, the island of Twilight Cove faded away, its story becoming only a memory. The Twilight Alliance was defeated by an unknown villain, thus causing humanity to move onto other places.

"The people of Twilight Cove spread magic all the way from America to Japan. In 2030, the world was full of magic. That, was when things started going wrong.

"Magic started to consume the world. As that happened, people relied on it for different things. That also meant assassination. It was the start of the Assassination period. People were getting killed left and right. In 2040, God was not pleased, so he sent the god of life and death to Earth. They both monitored magic and made sure people were doing the right things.

"After another 35 or so years, magic played a huge role in humanity. Kyoto eventually became one of the world's largest magic population, causing the Magic Government of Japan to exist. The god of death and god of life couldn't contain being gods, for their roles would be gone and they would have to be forced to become humans.

"With that said, the god of life asked the all powerful Amaterasu-sama if she could grant the world with three children with god like magic. She agreed and told her 'Give the children the powers of Izanami-sama, Bishamonten-sama, and Ebisu-sama. Once they grow up, they will learn to take their roles as goddesses'. The god of life nodded.

"Soon after, the war of gods began. They started bickering on how magic was effecting their lives. A demon lord sudden—"

"Hold up, this isn't the history of magic anymore," Natsumi interrupted.

"I know that, Hyuga. I am explaining your roles in defeating Sankarea-sensei and Sin Tae-Wong. This is important," Guren informed.

"Okay," Natsumi glanced.

"Ahem, anyways, back to the topic. A demon lord appeared, making matters worse. She didn't want the three granted heroes to exist. So, she took one. She tortured it to make sure her life would be bad. The god of life found out and sacrificed her life to save the hero. The god of death stopped being a god right after and vowed to protect and raise the child.
