Confused

Pagkatapos ng nangyari noong araw na iyon, I felt like something had already changed he became much more sweeter, he acts like he cares for me that much bihira niya na lang din akong asarin. To be honest I don't know what to feel, and I'm afraid because maybe, I'm just assuming all these things.

I was awaken from my deep thoughts when I heard my phone beep, I checked it and then I immediately get my things. Since weekends ngayon ay napagpasyahan namin na magkaroon ng isang outing to have a break from all of the stresses the we have for the past weeks.

"Good morning." He greeted pagkalabas ko ng bahay at kinuha ang mga gamit ko sa akin

"Yeah, good morning. You're early. By the way Pat, where's Sophie? Akala ko sasabay sila sa atin?" I said as he opened the door for me. I noticed that he's becoming a gentleman na.

"Change of plans. Mag-aayos pa daw sila. Wear your seatbelts Li." He said in a monotone voice, kaya agad ko namang inayos yung seatbelt ko.

"Baliw talaga yun, I've heard they've invited Clarissa and the others too." He just nodded and started the car's engine. He's like this one moment he's talkative, then another minute he's quiet, is he bipolar? So I just decided na sa window na lang tumingin.

"You're Jamie right?" the tall girl in short green dress asked me and at her back is another three girls wearing the same dress as hers, seriously? I wanted to laugh so loud but I tried to maintain a straight face, instead I arched a brow at her.

"And so? What is it to you?" I said as I looked at them

"Patrick? What is your relationship with him? I'm his girlfriend so you better stay away from him." I can't help but to laugh because of what the girl said.

"He's just my friend. Nakakahiya naman sa kanya, I never knew na wala pala siyang taste. Mahilig pala siya sa mukhang palaka." Then I laughed so hard and that earned an attention from the people around us, the girl in green dress together with her froglets just walked out maybe it's because of embarrasment.

I can't help but to smile whenever I remembered that day. Who would ever thought that I girl like me could answer back to those froglets? Hindi man ako kasing tangkad nila but I won't let myself to get intimidated just because of their height.

"What are you smiling about?" I looked at him, there's curiousity in it.

"I remembered that day when Clarissa confronted me that I have to stay away from you just because she's your "girlfriend" daw. Hindi ko naman alam na mahilig ka pala sa palaka." I said then laughed at him, akala ko maiinis din siya pero kagaya ko ay natawa lang din siya.

"Seriously? Naging girlfriend mo talaga yun?"

"Nope. Fling ko lang yun, how can she be my girlfriend? Remember? I don't do girlfriends." He said in a-matter-of-fact tone

"Yeah, as if. But you told me before na if you considered someone as your girlfriend, you're already serious with her, that she's the one you wanted to marry." And that is the most dreadful day for me.

"Oh, you'd still remember that? Were here." he parked the car at sabay kaming lumabas at kagaya ng kanina ay kinuha niya yung gamit ko at siya ang nagdala.

"Jamie!" I looked at my friend who's now approaching, para namang isang taon kaming hindi nagkita at sa likod niya ay si Jm kasama ang iba pa.

"Come'on let's go to the room na and let's change I badly want to swim." Hinatak niya na ako para makapunta na sa kwarto namin, I can't even say na yung bag ko ay na kay Patrick. When we entered, I find the room very relaxing it has two beds covered with white sheet and the window view is perfect where we can see the beach.

"So how's the trip? Kilig much ba?" she said when we entered the room, then that's when I realized na sinadya niya talagang hindi sila sumabay sa amin para sa 'solo moment' namin. Baliw talaga!

"You know what? He opened the door, carried my bag and then reminded me to wear my seatbelt. I'm confused with his actions."

"Maybe he likes you."

"To early to assume, you know he's always like that. Paano kung hindi lang pala sa akin? Besides I'm his friend so I think that it's a natural act for him."

We both stopped talking when we heard a knock from the door, Sophie stood up and then opened it.

"Jamie forgot her bag."

"Thanks for bringing it in." I just said before he left, as time passes I can't help but to fall for him.

"Okay, enough with the drama's now. Let's go and change! I want to swim na. Ayoko lang kasing kasabay sila Clarissa."

"Who told you to invite them?"

"The boys." She said shortly before entering the bathroom.

"Sophie! I can't wear something like this!" I said as I kept on covering my body with a scarf, I'm now wearing a yellow two piece which complimented my skin, although she said that I looked good on it, I still feel like I don't have any clothes.

"No you're going out wearing that. Para parehas tayo. Ano yun? Sila lang ang may karapatang mag swimsuit? No way Jamie, especially when Amy's there." she confidently said, and I understand why, dahil si Amy ay may gusto sa boyfriend niya.

"Okay, you win. Let's go." Breathe in breathe out, you can do this, hindi lang naman ikaw ang nakasuot ng two piece dito and it's a beach for pete's sake. We went out of our room and then walked confidently like queens.

"Jamie Li! What are you wearing?" he said and there's a hint of frustration on his voice

"Wasn't it ovbious? " I rolled my eyes at him and the he just shook his head. Why are you frustrated? He just grabbed my hand from Sophie and then dragged me somewhere.

"Wait! Anong problema mo?" we stopped and then he looked at me from head to toe bago napailing, ano ba talagang nangyayari sa kanya?

"Those guys are looking at you. Who told you to wear something like that?" He said in a low voice at yung kilay niya ay salubong na.

"Of course, because it's a beach. Ano gusto mong isuot ko gown?" I sarcastically said, he just sighed before removing his white shirt then gave it to me. At ng dahil sa ginawa niya, nakita ko kung gaano kaganda ang katawan niya. I felt my cheeks burned

"Anong gagawin ko dito?"

"Wear it. And don't you even try to remove it." At dahil parang hindi niya ako lulubayan hangga't hindi ko sinusuot ay sinuot ko na, umabot ito hanggang kalahati ng hita ko, edi sige na, ako na ang maliit. I glanced at him and he looked contented now

"Bumalik na nga tayo, baka hinahanap na tayo ni Sophie. Napaka conservative mo pala." I joked at him

"I'm your friend Jamie, kaya concerned ako sa iyo. Paano kung mabastos kayo dahil sa suot niyo?" and what he said was just like watching all my hopes up to fall down.

"Kaya nga thankful ako na naging kaibigan kita e."

If you only knew, you're not just confusing my mind but you're also confusing my heart.
