Jamie's

It's been weeks simula ng iwasan ko siya. Yes, believe it or not pero nagawa ko. Paano? Everytime na nakikita ko pa lang sila sa malayo nag-iiba na ako ng daan, di kaya'y bumabalik sa lugar kung saan ako nanggaling hanggang sa makalagpas na sila. Pero alam kong hindi naman pwedeng palagi na lang akong iiwas dahil magkikita at magkikita pa din kami sa ayaw man at sa gusto ko.

"Bes, nagtatanong na siya sa akin bakit daw ang busy mo ata? hindi ka na daw niya nakikita." Sophie said. So, he noticed?

"Alam mo naman di ba bes? But come to think of it, hindi naman pwedeng lagi ko na lang siyang iiwasan, and besides wala siyang clue kung bakit kasi nga ako lang naman ang nagmo-move-on dito. At isa pa we have the same circle of friends so, it's really impossible."

"Hay! Sa wakas! My bestfriend is back! You're being reasonable again. That means, you're moving on na talaga?" she said happily, which made me smile

"After weeks of thinking yes, wala naman kasi akong mapapala kung magpapaka-broken hearted ako. And I'm preparing for our performance." I said then winked. Cause sometimes the best way to move-on is to accept everything. Well, in my case never naman naging kami. Pasaway kasing unrequited love yan, nauso pa!

"I'm also excited to that. Thou I can't sing or play musical instruments like you. Sasayaw na lang ako." Then she laughed like there's no tommorrow.

Nandito ako ngayon sa music room practicing the song that I've wrote. i sighed while strumming the guitar and humming the tune of the song. I closed my eyes at mas dinama pa ang lyrics ng kanta. It's ovbious that the song's emotional. I promised to myself that this is the first and last song na isusulat ko para sa kanya.

I opened my eyes with the thought of someone entered the room. I heard a loud clap at agad ko itong nilingon. There, I saw a tall guy na sa tingin ko ay nasa 6ft ang taas, I can say that he's the mestizo type, yung buhok niya ay magulo, his eyes are a brooding and his nose are pointed, and the way he smiles, reminded me of someone I know.

"Done checking me out miss?" i arched a brow, the guy said in an arrogant tone

"Excuse me?" I said, at naglakad siya papalapit habang nakatingin sa akin, I also did the same. I won't back down cause as far as I'm concerned ako ang nauna dito. Pagkahinto niya ay nginitian niya ko. Talaga naman!

"Do you need anything? And why are you smiling like that?" may pagtataray sa boses ko. Well, kung dati siguro hindi ako magsasalita, I'm a different person now.

"Ang ganda mo sana miss kaso ang sungit mo." He said with a smirk on his face

"Ano ba kasing ginagawa mo dito? I'm busy practicing so you know."

"I've heard the strum of the guitar and humming, I can't help not to look kung saan nanggagaling yon and it lead me to you." Ah, yun naman pala, since he's here, whoever the guy is better to ask his opinion about the tune and the lyrics of the song before performing it infront of the people, he looks inclined to music naman.

"Uhm, can I ask for a favor? Can you listen to my song? I really needed someone's opinion."

"Sure, makakatanggi pa ba ako?" I just smiled at him. Before strumming the guitar and started singing the song.

Should've ignored what I felt

I poured all my emotions as I sing. I act like it's the day of our performance.

And I was such a fool to believe that there was really you and me

Pagtatapos ko at napatingin sa lalaking nasa harapan ko ngayon na kakakitaan ng amusement ng mata, I've noticed that his eyes are too expressive. He just smiled before clapping his hands again.

"Wow, hindi nga ko nagkamali, you've got an amazing voice. And the song it's beautiful. It's seems like the writer of the song poured his everything in it."

"I'm glad you've liked the song that I've wrote." I smiled at him

"You're not just pretty but also talented." He keep on saying that na ikinatawa ko lang, kanina pa kami naguusap pero hindi ko pa din alam ang pangalan niya.

"By the way, My name is Jamie and you are?"

"Chris Toffer Perez, you can call me Chris and nice meeting you Jamie." He extended his hand unto me and I gladly accept it.

"Where have you been? I'm looking for you all over the place." My bestfriend said

"Nasa music room lang ako bes, nagpa-practice." I said and I smiled as I remembered Chris, that guy is funny.

Nagpatuloy kami sa paglalakad hanggang sa mabangga ako ng di ko namamalayan sa isang babae. I was about to say sorry when I looked at her face. Talaga naman! Ngayon na ba talaga?

"Sorry miss." I just said. Honestly I didn't even know her name since bitter nga ako these past few weeks, well ganoon pa rin naman hanggang ngayon. Eh para saan pa na kasali ako sa drama club kung hindi ko naman gagamitin?

"Hi Jamie, long time no see." I just smiled at him and looked at the both of them, nakakawit ang braso niya sa kanya na para bang ayaw niya itong mahiwalay sa kanya and the way they look at each other, edi kayo na! I shooked my head, akala ko immuned na ako hindi pa pala.

"Hi Pat, Karen." Singit ni Sophie na ngayon ay mahigpit na ang kapit sa kamay ko, I know right?

"By the way Jamie, I know you haven't meet my girlfriend yet." He said while smiling widely, it's sad to know na hindi ikaw ang dahilan ng ngiti niya kung hindi ang iba.

"Love, meet my friend Jamie, and Li this is Karen my girlfriend." I smiled at her while I extend my hand for a handshake, alam kong nanunuod lang sa akin si bes and since I'm an actress I didn't let them see the ovbious, I'm so good at this huh?

"Nice to finally meet you Jamie." Mahinhin na sabi niya, nakakainis naman pati boses maganda!

I smiled before looking at Sophie, at buti naman ay nagets niya ang ibig kong sabihin kaya nagpaalam na kami at nagdahilan na pupunta kami sa mall para mag shopping. Huminto kami malapit sa may soccerfield at umupo sa may bench doon.

Mas mahirap pala kapag kaharap mo na. iba lang pala kapag hindi mo nakikita. Hindi ko namalayang tumulo na pala ang luha ko. Why does it hurts so much?

"It's okay bes, you'll get by. Ganyan talaga mag move-on." I hugged Sophie sa ganitong panahon nagpapasalamat ako na nasa tabi ko lang siya at hindi ako iniiwan.

"O, bakit ka umiiyak? Sino nagpaiyak sayo miss maganda?" napahiwalay ako ng narinig ko yung boses na yon kung kanina'y medyo palabiro pa siya ngayon ay seryoso na.

"Kilala mo ba siya? Ang gwapo huh?" tumango lang ako, at nakitaan ko ng pang-aasar ang besfriend ko, kahit kailan talaga.

"Nako, kanina lang nakita kita na okay ka, tapos ngayon naman." Napakamot siya sa ulo niya at malalim na huminga sabay abot ng panyo sa akin na tinanggap ko dahil hanggang ngayon ay seryoso pa din siya.

"Thank you Chris." At sa sinabi kong iyon ay parang naging okay na siya dahil bumalik na siya sa pagiging palabiro niya.

"May kaibigan ka pa lang maganda? Pakilala mo ako o." he said na nagpatawa sa akin at the same time napailing

"She's my bestfriend Sophie and He's Chris we met earlier at the music room." Nag ngitian lang sila at muling bumalik sa akin ang tingin ng bestfriend ko na parang nag-sasabing 'kaya pala hindi kita mahanap kasi kasama mo siya'. I just smiled

"By the way Chris, off-limits ang bestfriend ko, may boyfriend na yan."

"But she's not." Biglang sabi ng bestfriend ko kaya feeling ko namula ako ng sobra.

"Sa ganda mong yan wala? Seryoso ka?" I just nodded. Then he smiled and said "Okay." Before leaving me and my bestfriend clueless, bastos talaga hindi man lang nagpaalam!
