Not listening to what the teacher was saying, Sophia was thinking about her boyfriend leaving tomorrow. His break was over and he had to go back to his world. He had to go back to his crazy life. He loved his life at some point, but he was always happy when he could take a break from everything and go to his family to spend some time with them.

Sophia loved that boy so much. She loved how random he could be. Sometimes she would get a text form him saying how beautiful she was or how much he loved her. Justin never failed to make her smile. She just loved everything about him. She could see why so many girls all around the world adored and admired him. She didn’t understand at first, but since she met him she began to understand why all those girls were a fan of him. Why they defended and supported him no matter what. She now sees the Justin everyone should see. An amazing, lovely, carrying boy who’s doing what he loves every day.

Sophia left the classroom as soon as the bell rang. On her way to her next class she bumped into Emma. Emma hadn’t seen her, so she just walked past her. “Emma!” Sophia yelled after her. Emma stopped walking and looked around wondering who had just called her. She smiled once she saw Sophia. “I’d really love to talk, but I’m already late.” she told Sophia. “Trust me. This is worth being late.” Sophia said and took a note out her bag. “What is it?” Emma asked as Sophia handed her it. “Open it and you’ll see.” she smirked. Emma opened the note and her eyes widened. “Justin wrote this? For me?” she asked not believing it. “Yes, he did.” Sophia confirmed. Emma screamed making everyone in the hallway look at them. She attacked Sophia with a hug. “Thank you so much.” “No, thank you for keeping your promise. Well I gotta go to class. So see you later.” Sophia said and walked to her class with a smile on her face knowing she had just made that girl so happy.

It was lunch and of course the best friends were in the cafeteria eating. “Where are the boys?” Romy asked. Sophia shrugged. “Didn’t they have detention today?” Sarah remembered. “Oh yeah, they do. For what this time?” Romy asked, taking a bite of her sandwich. “I think Luke said they’ve been late for the same class like 5 times or something. The teacher couldn’t stand it. So he gave them detention. Like that will work.” Sophia explained. “About what teacher are we talking about?” “Mr. Parker.” Romy replied. “Poor boys.” Sarah said before getting up to throw her trash away.

Mr. Parker was on old strict teacher. You weren’t allowed to say one single word in class. Everything was a good reason to give you detention. Being late. Borrowing a pen. Yes, even that. It’s a surprise they could get away with it four times. They probably lied to him a few times. They had done that before.

“He should be happy they actually show up to his class.” Romy said. The boys had this bad habit of ditching some classes and to annoy the teachers. You can’t blame them though. They just love messing with the teachers. They don’t do it all the time, but when they do, it’s just hilarious. “But why did they get detention during lunch? Usually it’s after school.” Sarah said. “”Well the coach heard about their detention, so he arranged they had it during lunch so they wouldn’t miss the basketball practice today.” Romy told him as she looked around.

“So how your detention?” Sophia asked her brother as they were going home. Sophia stayed until after practice so they could go home together. “Fun.” he replied. “Fun?” she asked confused. “You can do whatever you want.” “What about the teacher who should be watching you?” “He’s asleep most of the time.” Luke told her.

He stopped the car and the twins got out. They heard voices when they entered the house. Sophia looked confused at her brother. Usually there’s no one home when they come home from school. Confusion was written all over Sophia’s face when she saw her parents sitting at the dining table. “You’re home early.” she said taking off her coat. “A meeting got cancelled.” their dad explained. “Sit down kids. Dinner’s ready.” their mom said before she went to the kitchen.

“So how was your day?” their dad asked, trying to make a conversation with his children. “Mine was alright.” Sophia smiled. “So was mine.” Luke quickly replied. Sophia shot him a look. Luke was planning on not telling their parents about his detention. Why not? If he did, their dad would give him a lecture about how he should behave and stuff. Sophia always took advantage of this. Every time he got in trouble, his sister had to promise not to tell their mom and dad. Of course she wouldn’t tell them if he did something for her. That’s how they were. Luke didn’t mind. As long as their parents didn’t find out, it was fine by him.

“Scooter, what do you mean? I can’t see her anymore?” Justin asked him. Scooter basically just told him he can better break up with Sophia. Of course Justin didn’t want that. He loved Sophia to death and nothing could change that. “It’s better if you forgot about her.” his manager said. “Don’t tell me what to do.” he snapped.

Justin was mad. He didn’t want to do this. But he had no choice. He had to break up with Sophia or his career would be over. Justin couldn’t choose between the two things he loved the most. Making music and his girlfriend. But Scooter was going to make him choose no matter what Justin wanted.
