"You sure you don't want to go?" I ask Tobias.
A lot of the Dauntless were going zip lining, and I was trying to talk Tobias into it.
"No, just say I came down with a cough or something." He says, not wanting to go anywhere near the zip line.
"Fine." I roll my eyes.
"Don't I get a goodbye kiss?" He asks.
I give him a look. "Pansycakes don't get goodbye kisses."
He looks down, sadly, and I walk out.
I smile and go to find Christina, Uriah and Will.
We wait for Marlene and Lynn to show up, before jumping on the trains. Like always, Christina is super excited.
"So it is fun? I can't wait! How long is it? Does it feel like you're flying?" She asks all at once.
"God, I'm thinking we should have just left her in a shop or something." Uriah says, rolling his eyes.
"So what do you guys think of this festival thing?" Will asks.
"The sooner those nosy Candor and happy go lucky Amity leave, the better." I tell them, earning a laugh from Lynn and Mar, and a glare from Chris.
Soon, we are on top of the building, just like I was, during initiation. It feels like ages since I was up here. Zeke grabs the slings, and calls my name. I make my way to him, and he tells me I'll be going first.
"Yeah!" I scream into the wind.
He tightens the straps, and counts down from ten.
"... Three, two, one!" He shouts.
He pushes me off the building and I feel like I'm an initiate again, flying threw the air, with no worries. I smile into the air rushing around my face, pulling my hair loose from my pony tail. I wish Tobias could be here now.

"That was awesome." Will says, grabbing a hamburger.
"Totally." Uriah adds.
I take a bite of my burger, as Tobias sits next to me.
"Dude! You missed an epic day." Zeke tells him.
He nods, distracted. His blue eyes seem a little darker than usual, and he intently stares down at his food.
"You okay?" I ask him, taking his hand, under the table.
"I'll tell you later." He says, shaking his head, as if trying to clear it.
"Okay."
We finish our burgers in silence, listening to Will and Marlene discuss the amazing was of the day.
~~~
I go back to the apartment with Christina, but she goes to bed, telling me she is tired from an amazing day, and how she is so lucky to have friends to share it with.
I slip out of the apartment after I hear faint snores, and walk down the hall to Tobias' room. It's close to midnight, and I don't know if he is awake. I open the door, and see him laying in bed. He still is awake, and scoots over, as I climb in, next to him, under the covers.
He sighs. "I went through my fear landscape today."
"Change?" I ask, as he sits up, and I do too, noticing he is shirtless.
"Yeah." He swallows. "Same number, it just changed."
He fumbles around with the sheets, looking down. I realize I'll need to question him for further information.
"What changed?" I ask.
"You're in it." He says, seeing my shocked look. "I'm not afraid of you, I'm afraid of losing you. You were being killed and I couldn't stop it." He buries his face in his hands.
I take his wrists and set them on his lap, and looking into his distraught eyes.
"I'm not going anywhere." I tell him.
