After our feast at the Ferris wheel, we walk around a bit, and even get the carousel spinning a little with some manpower. Later, we go back to the compound and I fall asleep quickly.
Sadly, I wake up a few hours later to a pounding on the door. I look over to the clock on my nightstand, and it reads 5:46. A/N: see what I did there?
"Tris, get the door!" Christina calls out.
I grunt, getting out of bed. Walking to the door, I wonder who would be up at this time. The pounding on the door is consistent, and I groan, as it gets louder as I walk closer.
I open the door and see Tobias.
"It's five am, what do you wa-" I say, but get interrupted by his lips crashing into mine.
He slides his hands onto my cheeks, making my face heat up. My arms reach for his neck, but I pull away.
"Oh, Tris." He says wrapping his arms around me. "I'm so sorry."
I slide my hands around his waist, laying my face on his chest. His hand strokes my hair, finding the door handle, and closing it behind him, so we are in the hallway.
Tears slide down my cheeks.
"After I saw you staring at the Ferris wheel, the more I thought I remembered something about it. I was awake all night, and finally I figured it out. All of it. I'm sorry." He explains.
I shake my head. "No, don't be, it wasn't your fault."
"But all those things I said, I did. I kissed Lauren instead of you, I-I..." he trails off.
I reach up to his face, pulling him down to me for a kiss. "It's okay."
He pulls away. "No, it's not. It's not okay. I forgot about you completely." He looks away. "You don't deserve me."
"I don't?" I ask. "Please, don't be ridiculous."
He sighs, and looks into my eyes. I stare back, happy I'm in his arms again. He takes my hand, and leads me toward his room. He tucks me under the covers, then hesitantly slides in next to me.
He stares at me, and I stare at him. He looks like he wants to kiss me, but he doesn't feel he should.
"Just kiss me, you fool." I say, touching his cheek.
He leans over and kisses me, and I fall asleep, happy I answered the door instead of Christina.

That morning, I try to sit up, but arms push me down. I squirm, but they insist I stay down.
"Hey, lie still, I'm trying to hug you." Tobias says.
I exaggerate a sigh, and look over to him.
Happiness is present throughout his eyes, as he faces me, and I wonder how someone could forget so much.
"What are you doing today?" He asks me.
"Nothing, Tori told me I could have 2 weeks off, and that ends in about 4 days." I tell him.
"Perfect."
He kisses me, and I let him pull be closer, so we are sharing breathes. He leans in, and kisses along my jaw, finally settling in my lips. I try to hide a smile, but it finds its way out.
We eventually get up, and I go back to my apartment, where Christina is worriedly pacing, already dressed.
"Where have you been?" She asks.
"Four's place." I say.
Her face lights up. "He remembers you?" She says. "Oh, thank God! You won't be so depressed anymore."
I get ready, putting a jacket over a tank top and black jeans. My hair becomes fragile, as I brush it, by I slip in back into a pony tail.
I walk into the dining hall with a smile on my face, and walk over to get some breakfast. Eric is in the line in front of me, and he sees my happy face.
"Finally over Four? Took you long enough." He says.
"Actually, he remembered everything." I explain.
He looses interest and walks away.
I go to sit at my table, and notice Tobias sitting with an empty place next to him. I sit, with my plate of two muffins, next to him. I'm starving.
He smiles, and kisses me, and I kiss back, until I notice him taking a muffin.
I pull away. "Hey!"
He laughs, and I try to grab for it, hit he stretches his arm away from me.
I narrow my eyes, then slouch in my seat, defeated. He takes a bite out of it, laughing to himself. I eat mine quickly, and start to get up to go get another.
Tobias' arm pulls me back down though. "I'll get you one." He says, getting up himself.
I smile. He is good to me.
A/N:How was that? Was it too cheesy? I think the next little problem will have something to do with Peter, but I'm not sure yet. Thanks for commenting and voting!
