~Chapter 5 I wanted to punch him~

"On Saturday, you will be paired up with a team to battle. Sunday the theme for the cooking will be announced. Monday the battles will begin and of course Christian and myself will be attending as 2 of the 4 judges. We will keep the battles going until we have 2 teams standing. Also, just like last year, every class group will have their own cabin for practicing and planning their recipes and etc. Christian and I will choose who you will be staying with. Meaning if there is a girl in your group. The girl will be placed in a different cabin, but she will still be in your group," Jace finished.

"Please respect our decision. We just don't need another incident like last year. We have decided the rooming. Your class will be called. Go outside one group at a time and and you will be told your arrangements. Until then, please enjoy the meal," Christian said. Everyone cheered and clapped. They walked outside. Mr. Adair walked to the stage.

"Freshman Groups outside," He said. All the freshman got up and walked out. I looked at my plate. Today was Veg Lasagna, fried rice, and crab apple salad. I took a bite of lasagna.

"Mm. The dailies butter they used melted between the layers and you can taste it. The sauce they used has roasted garlic, a dash of olive oil, a bit of spinach, basil, and other natural herbs. The veggies they used have been fried first and in very little olive oil. The crab apple has a nice harmony. It's sour and sweet. The natural flavors of the apple and orange flow real nicely. To top it off the apples and oranges are crunchy and not at all soggy. The rice is okay. It could use some natural herbs and fried veggies," I said. Everyone had their mouths open. Even the Juniors were looking at me.

"Did I do something wrong," I asked. They shook their heads. I shrugged and finished eating.

"Sophomore groups outside," I said. I wiped my mouth and got up. We walked out the room. Doors closed. I walked to the desk.
"Sophomore Advanced Group," Axel said.

"Blythe Maxwell. You will be staying with Mr. Adair, Jace, and Christian," She said. We nodded and started walking back. I tripped and fell. Hunter caught me.

"How are you falling? There is nothing to trip over here," Hunter laughed.

"I'm a klutz." I laughed.

"I've noticed," he smirked. I stuck my tongue out at him. We walked back inside and finished our food.
**Thursday**

We got our stuff and started to get on the bus. We headed to the airport. When we got there, everyone started getting up to go and Jace stopped them.

"So, as you guys know, I'm don't have a lot of rules. You all might hate me for this, but I need your phones. This is a very important tournament and I don't want anything to get in the way of the experience you're going to take away from this," everyone gasped and started talking. Jace shushed them.

"Don't talk back. This is going to be good for all of you. You will learn teamwork and to be social with one another. Every team needs to work together and talk to each other if you want to get anywhere in that tournament. You all will have fun and thank me by the end of this," he said.

"Yeah, I doubt that," Nick smirked. Jace looked at him. Everyone started giving up their phones one by one. Jace counted them.

"Somebody still has their phone so give it up or we just won't go," he said. A girl that was in the slacker group walked up, rolled her eyes, and handed him the phone.

When we got on the plane, we sat down. I sat by Hunter and Diana. We had to wake up super early, so I was tired. I closed my eyes and thought about my mom.
