*Chapter 11 Party Pooper*

"Satan's a tree."

"Oh come on Rosie."He teased. I froze and stiffened.

"Only my grandma ever called me that." I said looking at him.

"Sorry.." He said.

"No. Um. It's fine I'll get used to it again." I smiled. I miss you Granny. Jace's phone rang. He answered it.

"Come on we have a interview." He said. They nodded. Mom looked at me with sad eyes.

"Come on Romane. We're going to be late." Jace said.

"Blythe. Can you please call him your Dad. Please. Just once. Not Jace or father. " She said.

"Well then you guys might want to hurry. Otherwise you'll be late. Isn't that right Dad." I said. He looked shocked but happy. They left. I sat down and sighed. I laid down and fell asleep.

~Next Morning~

I got up and followed my morning routine and got ready. Diana, her team came over. We practiced the recipes. Then we headed to the Grand Hall and waited to be announced.

"TEAM DIANA!" The person said. We walked inside and waited in front of our station. The person announced the other team. They walked in and waited by their station.

"You have 2 hours! Ready GO!"

We ran to our spots and started. Nick started giving orders.
"Diana, and Leo Prepare the fruit salad! Sam cut the fruits. Felix get the Chia prepared. Blythe and I can handle the 2 special recipes." He said. Everyone nodded and got to work. I opened the fridge and grabbed the prepared angel food cake base. I got everything else that I needed. I prepared everything. Nick tasted the pudding.

"Perfect." He said. I smiled and finished it up. I decorated it with mint leaves. Nick finished up the drinks. Diana finished the fruit salad. The chia pudding was ready. We put chia on the bottom then a layer of mango and pomegranates. We had 2 chia pudding layers and 3 fruit layers. We decorated it with Mint leaves and Kiwi. We were done.

"TIME!"
We put our dished on the cart and pushed it in front of our stations. The other team went first.

"Team Diana. Your turn. Please have the 2 Advance members serve."
Nick and I pushed the cart to the judges table. There were new judges. Jace, Alex, Christian, Mr.Adair, A guy in a suit and a smiling lady. We put a cup of the chia pudding, fruit salad, angel berry trifle and a drink in front of each of the judges.

"Enjoy," Nick said. We stepped back. They ate and tried everything. Then talked among themselves. The guy in a suit smiled.

"Your theme is tropical memories." He smiled.

"These dishes are truly wonderful Each of them hold a different type of tropical memory. The trifle makes you remember your childhood days. When you messed around and had fun all the time with your parents and loved ones. The drink makes you remember the wonderful beach memories. The salad reminds a person of each and every person they care for. The salad reminds a person of their roots. The pudding reminds a person of all the happy, and sad times people have gone through  and the times you had to be strong. Thus, making the theme Tropical Memories. Wonderful. Truly." The lady said. The judges agreed. We walked back to our group.
