"What if we used his own will against himself? What if we somehow trapped him somewhere?" I suggested, my head starting to hurt from trying to come up with a plan.

"My question is how is he alive?" Sans has crossed his arms, leaning against the house.

"What—Oh. Yes," I turned to Undyne, "How is he alive?"

"I-I don't know. But all I know i-is that Alphys could be dead soon if we don't think of something!" Undyne sounded like she was about to hyperventilate.

"What about the Core?" I suggest.

They both look at me, "How do you know about the Core?"

I then frown, "I-I don't know. I-I just know that monsters have died there before. . ."

"That's true. What if we pushed him over the edge? He couldn't recover from that, surely?" Undyne suggested.

Sans nodded, "That could work. But there are no promises of him disappearing forever. . . Remember that some of the monsters that have fallen have been sighted at the edges of Waterfall. We might be able to get rid of him for the time being. . . And that sounds really nice." He kinds of laughs.

I nod to myself, "I'll lure him, just make sure that I don't get killed. Make sure that Alphys doesn't, either." I look at Sans and then Undyne.

They both nod. And then we start towards the Core.

After an hour of walking, we arrived at the lab, having to pry the door open from the outside before heading down to a lower level, Undyne leaving the way.

She knocks on one of the doors, telling us to wait out in the hallway in a hushed tone.

The door opened, "Ah, Undyne—Hmm, I see you have no human soul. Did you fail? Because that would be awful—"

"I didn't. She is here, just outside." Undyne interrupted.

I felt myself tense up. Even though I knew the plan, this was a part of it, it still made me tense.

"Why is she not dead, then?" Gaster sounded impatient.

"Because I thought you'd much rather kill her yourself. But I will need Alphys back, first."

"Oh, fine, just bring her in!" I turned around the corner.

Undyne caught Alphys in her arms and then shouted, "We've got a runner!"

I bolted out of the room and to the exit. Sans teleported from the corner and to the corner, as we had planned. I heard Gaster let out an angry insult and then chase after me. Everything was going smoothly.

I rounded the corner, sliding a little bit, and then continued to bolt. Sans was going to teleport me up the stairs.

"You won't win!" Gaster shouted from behind me.

"I already have!" I shouted back, rounding another corner into Sans' arms, where he teleported me to the top of the stairs.

"See you on the other side," I continued to run, the adrenaline helping me run.

Gaster also teleported, catching up to me. I was caught a bit off guard but just picked up speed to counter his teleportation. I slowed as I saw the open part of the Core, once I was close enough stopping fully and turning around.

He also slowed, "And what's the plan now, genius?" He taunted me.

"You're about to see."

Sans appeared behind him, grabbing his shoulders and throwing him over the edge. Gaster caught the platform that we were standing on, laughing.

"I'll be back! And I'll be even more whole! This void won't stop me!"

"Then I look forward to seeing you in a few years," Sans took his hands off the platform, letting him drop.

He eventually disappeared into 'the void.'
