4. My kingdom come

Ezra's POV
I had just finished my meeting with the Dean at Hollis to discuss my new job. We had downed a few glasses of scotch before I jumped in my car driving to a bar on the west side of town. What the hell was she doing at a bar I thought? I made my way through the quite busy bar and ordered a beer. I turned around just in time as a guy on stage started playing scanning for Aria. I notice Spence and Hannah up the back cheering. I looked back at the stage as the most beautiful female voice started singing. It was Aria. She was absolutely amazing 'when your dreams all fail and the ones we hail, are the worst of all and the bloods run stale' then the young male joined in again. I caught Aria's eyes as she went a shade of red I gave her a reassuring smile. I looked around the bar noticing everyone sat in silence hanging on every word. When the song finished everyone stood up and cheered. The young man that sung with Aria gave her a kiss on the cheek and a hug while whispering something in her ear. She made her way over to me jumping into my arms and kissing me.

"Wow Aria you were absolutely amazing" I whispered in her ear, her face flashed red. Soon Spence and Hannah were behind her congratulating her.

"You and Dan sounded awesome" Hannah said hugging her.

"How amazing is this young lady!" Dan yelled out making his way through the crowd "She sung my song like a complete pro! Here take my card, if you ever want a career in music give me a call" he replied smiling before picking up his guitar to leave.

"Your song" Aria whispered as he walked away stopping to sign autographs on his way out the door.

"OMG I think that guys the lead singer to Imagine Dragon. You sung with someone famous and I have it all on camera. Best Night ever!" Hannah screamed.

"We have to head off, but we will catch up with you guys soon. By the way we're really going to miss you in English Mr Fi... ah Ezra" Spencer said still smiling while giving me and Aria a hug before leaving.

ARIAS POV
I watched them walk out of the bar before turning back around to Ezra. I grabbed his face and kissed him "I love you so much".

"I love you" he replied kissing my forehead, "let's get something to eat I'm starving" he added.

We left the bar and made our way across the street to a small Italian restaurant. We ordered pizza to share and some champagne to celebrate Ezra's new job.

"I still can't get over how amazing you sounded! You should take him up on his offer" Ezra said with a big proud smile.

"I've never really thought about it...maybe" I said shrugging it off.

After a delicious  dinner, we made our way back to my car to grab my spare clothes bag. Before jumping into Ezra's car as I was still feeling a little tipsy. We arrived back at Ezra's apartment; and he pulled his keys out of his pocket to open the door. But I quickly grabbed his arm spinning him around pressing him back against the door. I smashed my lips to his, gently running my tongue across his bottom lip till he opened his mouth granting me access. I flicked my tongue slowly against his while unbuttoning his shirt. He grabbed my hands and quickly pushed me back to allow him access to turn his key and open the door. He grabbed me by the waist lifting me until I wrapped my legs around his lower body. He walked us both inside kicking the door shut.

He placed me on the kitchen bench as he pressed himself between my knees, running kisses down my neck. He slowly undid my blouse letting it fall off my shoulders. He picked me up carrying me to the bed kissing me until he dropped me on the bed. I looked into his deep blue eyes and let him take all of me.

Ezra's POV
I awoke that morning to the most beautiful woman wrapped safely in my arms. I brushed her long brown hair from her face and  planted a kiss on her forehead.

"I could get used to this" she mumbled opening her gorgeous hazel eyes.

"I wish you could stay over every night" I replied as she leaned in pressing her naked body to mine and planting a soft kiss on my lips.

But sure enough that soft kiss made its way into another heated make out session, she was the most gorgeous girl and I couldn't keep my hands off her. And of course since we were both unclothed one thing led to another. I loved everything about making love in the morning; I could see all her gorgeous features and get completely lost in her deep hazel eyes.

We planned on having a lazy Saturday in the apartment. Order take out and watch movies. We eventually decided to make our way out of bed in dire need of a strong coffee and food. I picked up her small frame and walked towards the shower placing her down while turning on the hot water. We both climbed in the shower, she turned around and held her body against mine while slowly kissing my lips.

"I'll go grab some coffees and bagels. You shower and relax" I said placing a kiss on her lips before climbing out of the shower.

I quickly threw on some cream shorts and a black collared shirt. I grabbed my car keys and headed towards the door.

Aria's POV
Last night felt absolutely magical. I felt like everything was falling into place and had the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with in my arms. I washed my hair and climbed out of the shower wrapping a towel around my body. I walked over to the lounge and grabbed my bag of clothes taking  some black shorts and a singlet out and throwing them on. Ezra's phone began ringing and the message bank picked it up.

"Hey Z, I heard your coming over to my neck of the woods to work. Would love to catch up like old times. Call me" said a female voice.

Who the hell was that? I thought. Surely it's just a new colleague but I couldn't stop wondering how she knew Ezra. I picked a few movies out for the day and placed one in the DVD player ready to go.
