Ezra's POV
Where the hell was Aria? I had been calling her all night. At first her phone would just ring out but then eventually it just started going straight to message bank. Everything had been fine on the phone the day before. I got dressed and drove to the Brew hoping to find her there. I looked around but came up blank. I ordered a coffee and took a seat towards the back on a couch. Hoping she had just lost her phone and it went flat. I was lost in my thoughts when someone sat awfully close on the couch. I turned expecting to see Aria.

"What the hell do you want Jackie?" I asked sternly not in the mood for her antics.

"Good morning to you too Ezra" she replied smiling.

"I have to go" I replied turning to face her as she grabbed my face and planted a kiss on my lips. I was so in shock that she had actually kissed me that I froze for a moment. When I realised what she was doing I stood up. "What the hells wrong with you" I shouted before grabbing my coffee and leaving.

Arias POV
I woke with the biggest hangover headaches of all time. My whole head was completely throbbing. I dragged my way out of Spencer's bed towards her small kitchen inside the barn. I grabbed the biggest glass I could find, filled it with water and gulped down the whole lot. Spencer appeared behind me carrying some tablets and placed them in my hand.

"Here take these. You look like absolute hell" she laughed.

"I feel like absolute hell too" I mumbled back refilling my glass and throwing the tablets in my mouth.

"How about we head back to your place and have a shower, grab some clothes and get some very strong coffee?" She asked "oh and also we better head to the phone shop to get you a new one" she added.

I drove Spence back to school to get her car. She waved as she drove to the Brew to get some coffee. I made my way home and through the front door and quickly up the stairs before my parents spotted me. After a very long shower and plenty of make up later I looked half respectable. I heard a knock on my bedroom door and found Spencer baring coffee and bagels. After smashing down a bagel I looked at Spencer who seemed to be awfully quiet.

"What's up?" I asked her taking a sip of my much needed coffee.

"Nothing" she quickly shot back.

"Come on Spence I know something's up. You left cheery than come back...upset?" I asked thinking hard what it might be.

"I didn't want to upset you Aria, but I saw Ezra kissing another woman at the Brew" she croaked looking into my face to gauge my reaction.

"Yeah so it is true then" I whispered looking at at the floor.

"Any way let's forget about that cheating bastard and go shopping. I'll text Hannah"
She replied taking out her phone and tapping away at the screen.

We arrived at the shops. I spent the day hanging out and laughing with my friends. Emily soon joined us after she finished work and we all grabbed some lunch. Last stop was the phone shop I purchased a new phone and told the cashier I would like a new number. I gave the number only to the girls and text my parents to let them know I changed my number in case they needed to contact me.

It was quite late in the afternoon when Spencer dropped me back home.

"Are you going to be ok?" She asked.

"Yeah it may not be today, tomorrow or next week. But I will be" I smiled and closed the door waving good bye.

I walked into the front door and lent back against it bursting into tears. I thought about what I had just said to Spencer and knew how far from the truth it had been. I was so torn up inside that I thought it would last forever.

"Honey what's wrong" I heard as mom rushed towards me wrapping her arms around me. All I could do was cry on her shoulder. I pulled back and made my way slowly up the stairs, when I made it to the top I turned around to see mom still standing there worried. I walked into my room and laid down on the bed. I must have cried litres of tears before there was nothing left to cry. I picked up my notepad and pen and wrote down every bit of pain into lyrics. It was a way for me to escape. I heard a knock at the door and mom appeared closing the door behind her making her way over to sit on the edge of my bed.

"You know you can tell me anything?" She asked still looking at me worried.

"I know" I replied knowing I could never tell her half the story. Although maybe if I did Ezra deserved to be in jail so he wouldn't do this to anyone else.

"Dinners ready" she said smiling weakly.

"Mom how did you ever forgive Dad for cheating?" I asked knowing now how broken she must of been.

"Oh it was hard...very hard. I eventually realised he had made a mistake and still loved me. Aria it takes a long time after having your heart broken to find forgiveness for the ones that deserve it. It doesn't mean you have to forgive the ones that don't. Just give it time" she smiled "I'll bring dinner up to you" she added leaning in to hug me.

"Thanks mom" I smiled as she left the room. I thought to myself that maybe Ezra never really loved me like dad loved mom. So maybe he wasn't worth ever forgiving.
